Nestled in a historic downtown Pineville building that dates back to the 1890s, The Garrison is a 2-story restaurant featuring indoor and outdoor seating, a full-service classic cocktail bar, upstairs dining, and modern American cuisine as well as upscale bar bites. Think - the best burger in town, 24-hour brined chicken wings, a ribeye steak sandwich, chops, fresh local seafood, and more.

Very good food (fish & chips, fish tacos, beef ribs, bangers & mash). Pretty fast service considering the place was packed! Kind of noisy...hard to talk across the very wide table. But we will be back!!

Excellent lunch! The 3 of us were very pleased. The Tomato Parmesan soup was TOP SHELF! Highly recommend this establishment.

Outstanding food and the service from Molly was great. Recommended the cauliflower appetizer it will take you to a new level of taste.

Once the upstairs dining room filled up it was very loud. My husband had the perfect gentleman drink and didn't care for it. He had the pork chop and it was cooked too death. The service was great and the decor was beautiful. Overall, would go back to sit at the bar and eat apps.

Met a former co-worker for a lovely dinner. The main dining area is an intimate area and was quiet enough to enjoy a good meal and conversation. The food offerings were diverse and cannot wait to return to try them. My colleague had the Fish and Chips and raved about them. My wife had the scallops and enjoyed them thoroughly. I had the Bangers and Mash, which were some of the best I have had on this side of the Atlantic. The dessert was Cookie Butter Banana Pie. It was delicious!! The Garrison also has an excellent selection in the bar area. My wife enjoyed the selection of non-alcoholic beers, but wished there were some non-alcohol mocktails as well. The alcohol beer list was very IPA heavy, but Charlotte loves IPAs for some reason. Our guest had one of the cocktails, which she enjoyed as well. Overall a great experience. My wife and I have said we will have to return soon.

The Ahi tuna nachos were an amazing start to the meal - so fresh and light. I had the scallops with mushroom risotto - it was divine! My husband's Connecticut style (hot) lobster was delicious as well. He got side of Mac and cheese - YUM! We finished our meal with the apple crisp and would highly recommend it as well. Overall fabulous dining experience to celebrate our anniversary.

Great stop in a walkable downtown area. Good food and service. Staff was very welcoming

This was our first meal at The Garrison. I was looking for a restaurant not too far from the RV park near Carowinds where our friends from Delaware were spending the night (we live off of Carmel Road in Charlotte). We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and our waitress, Molly, was awesome!
