   The food, cocktails and dessert were great, the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays! Noisy when full, but well worth it!

   Amazing service,food etc. we had 8 people in our party. Everything was perfect from the time we sat down. Cant wait to go back!!

   Our server Haley was excellent. I love the decor and the attention to detail they pay to the guests. When we arrived we were greeted and sat right away. Ice cold water at the table and are silverware was changed out after the first course. We could hear music playing in the background from the lounge and it was festive. The food came out hot and everything was fresh. The cocktails were creative as well. They even accommodated my kids very well. We will return When in Providence.

   This was our Anniversary dinner. It was delicious from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for a special date night or a treat.

   We went for thanksgiving dinner and came early to see if we could be seated and they were able to seat us early. We got dessert to go because we were so full from the meal. The food was fresh and delicious and the servers AJ and Katelyn worked together collaboratively on the bottom floor where we were seated. Between the 2 of them they came to check 5 different times if we needed anything. Even the bar tender Jimmy came to clear some dishes and ask us how everything was. Great experience.

   This review was for Thanksgiving and may not be reflective of an average day. My basic issue was that service was friendly but very inattentive. It was not an enjoyable experience for $230 turkey dinner for two. We arrived a few minutes minutes before our reservation and were directed to the bar to wait for our table. We were told that they would come and get us when our table was ready. We waited too long for someone to take our drink order. After 20 minutes I went back to the host station to inquire about our table. I was told they tried to call me on my phone which was turned off for dinner. They did not come and get me like they said and at no time did the host walk through the small bar area announcing my party of 2. Now our table was gone and we were offered a table down stairs. The downstairs room had the ambiance of a school cafateria and lighting like a dentist's office. Half way through dinner the wait staff were busy clearing tables and resetting for the next day. It felt like hanging around a bar too long after last call rather than finishing dinner at 7 pm. We skipped coffee and dessert. This was our first and last time at The George.

   Hayley did a great job, and the food was brilliant. Nice wine list. It’s a great place—we highly recommend it.

   Lovely dining room, candlelight, linens, excellent service by Dan, friendly welcoming greeting by Joe. Creative dishes! Great Veal on the bone. Very good soups, Tender Prime Rib. Wonderful Shrimp Artichoke appetizer. Comfortable seating! Attentive management! The only thing missing was complimentary bread service. With such fine dining, we expected it. Definitely a must try restaurant!

    Absolutely fabulous experience, highly recommend if you are going to see a show. The food and service was fantastic, I would say 5 star all the way.
