Discover The George: A modern dining marvel led by Chef Guillermo Carreno. Indulge in a brasserie-inspired menu and lavish bar program within a high-design arena, ushering in a new era for the historic hotel's iconic dining room. Our evolving menu celebrates local seasonal ingredients through small plates, raw selections, vegetarian options, mains, and desserts.
Embrace the Pacific Northwest at The George, savoring the freshest seafood from local waters and curated dry-aged meats. Artisan cheeses and vibrant fruits and vegetables are locally sourced. Signature dishes vary with seasons, from summer scallops to classic Steak & Frites.
Honoring the hotel's architecture, The George nods to George B. Post. Renowned Spanish design studio Lázaro Rosa-Violán orchestrates a captivating interior, blending history with timeless aesthetics. Hand-painted tiles, pendant lamp chandeliers, and striking marble floors elevate the ambiance while floor-to-ceiling iron and glass doors complete the vision.

Server was awful. Apparently, because we were dining with two children, and she didn’t service us at all. We waited forever to take our order, for the dessert, menus, and even for her to validate our parking.

Just spent two weekends in NYC for 8 spectacular Taylor Swift recommended dining experiences all of which were less expensive than The George. Pressed turkey for $45 was the SPECIAL but you could probably get same thing at Denny's for $15. Service was really good though. Last dined here 20 years ago when it was quality French cuisine. Never again. Seattle CLEARLY not a restaurant town.

Delicious food perfectly balanced with flavors served under the classily elegant high ceilings. The place to dress up, linger in conversation and be pampered.

This restaurant is a beautiful place to go of course with the interior and the service being top notch. But the food is just not good— we got eggplant toast, salmon crudo, autumn bisque and shrimp and it was not worth the $$$. Come here for a drink and skip the food!

Limited protein entree options, & expensive. Pasta was good. Bone marrow with escargot is not worth it...

The ambience and service were top notch. We stopped here before attending a play at the 5th Ave Theater. The proximity to the theater and ease of parking across the street made it an enjoyable experience.

Our main server was amazing as were the others. The best Thanksgiving meal we’ve had in the past 6 years my daughter and I have been going out. I would just suggest a glass of wine comes with each meals. Everything was exceptional!! Thank you to all!!

We dined at the George on Thanksgiving day. Gary's service was unmatched. The milk bread and pumpkin soup were delicious. Adult beverages were tasty and plentiful. Even the brussels sprouts were good (and I don't like brussels sprouts). A bit pricey, but worth it for the occasion.

The Thanksgiving dinner at The George was a nice experience. Attentive service, although the bar seemed to be slow at getting a cocktail to our table. Some inconsistency with portion sizes - a huge bowl of (delicious) brussels sprouts but just a tiny serving of gravy? Would have liked some stuffing. However everything was tasty.
