   It was our first time at the restaurant, and overall it was an enjoyable experience. We went on a Saturday with an 8pm reservation. Front ofnhouse dtagg were friendly, food was excellent, decor and ambience were good. However, there seemed to be a bottleneck in the kitchen (maybe it was a busier than usual night?) which meant that it took us 2h15m to get through a 3 course tasting menu. Reverting back to the positive, it was very nice that we were offered the option to substitute dishes from other courses in the (larger) tasting menu into ours to suit, albeit at extra cost obviously. However, if you're thinking of doing the same, do check with the staff about the additional cost as it may be worth you just ordering and enjoying the larger tasting menu with those items included for a similar price. We look forward to returning in the future.

   We had a table for four to celebrate a birthday . Prompt service , excellent food friendly staff . I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   We dined on a Friday night at the start of a new “season” and menu. We chose the €49 option which was three courses plus breads and drink on arrival. Food and service were both excellent, flavours and presentation were particularly good.

   New Year’s Day dinner was amazing! The chef outdid themselves with an amazing list of options. Everything was so tasty! I had zero complaints and I wish they were bigger portions of everything! The hostess was very sweet and made me feel very welcome as a solo diner. Highly recommend this location if you are in the area, and even if you’re not, make a point to go here... you won’t be disappointed!

   Steven Saunders and the whole team take a bow…. we had THE most wonderful Christmas lunch here. Each course was delicious, presented beautifully and we could not fault the service on what was a very busy day. If every Christmas day dining experience matched The Geranium we would all be in heaven on earth. Muchas gracias to Garry also who was so welcoming and charming. We will miss Malaga but most of all our wonderful Christmas lunch in The Geranium.

   Absolutely perfect Xmas eve lunch, lovely restaurant, very attentive and efficient service, seriously delicious food, flawless presentation , all at a very reasonable price, really couldn’t fault it and would recommend it highly.

   What a fabulous experience. Food was outstanding, service was excellent and overall had a Lovely dining experience for my husbands birthday. Was over the moon at gluten free options abstracting menu was tasty. 10/10 dining experience

    Looking for good restaurants in la Cala de Mijas we stumblede upon The Geranium and decided to give it a try. And what a treat. We had our best lunch ever in Spain. The Food was absolutely excellent. The staff very friendly and We will be deffinatly be back. 😍🇩🇰
