   Had to be one of the best meals we have had in ages 😍 Everything was incredible from the food to the service If you plan on wanting vegetarian 🌱 sorry this is not for you but the Steaks 🥩 are out of this world and cooked to perfection .. Please make sure you go ,can be a bit noisy as the cocktails 🍹 flow well 😉

   Back again for the second time. This place did not disappoint. Amazing food and service. I would highly recommend the scallops and the 1 kg shared T-bone. For desert I had the apple crumble which is pretty special. When booking I would suggest being specific with inside or outside and whether you would like a picnic table or regular seating as it’s a busy venue.

   After booking online in advance for 2 than placed on a long table at the end with a group of 6 - making it very noisy - disappointing - the pumpkin and ricotta side is great scallop entree average and overpriced- steak nothing special .. this was a lot better a couple of years ago Will not return

   We decided to book this venue for a birthday celebration, we were directed to our table which was outside with bench seats with no backs, very uncomfortable to sit like that for hours. We waited 30 minutes for drinks. Staff seemed irritated to answer our questions regarding food items on the menu, so we quickly ordered. Food was good but very pricey considering the ambience. Would I recommend this venue to my friends? definitely not Will I rebook this venue again? definitely not

   Incredible food, and the share steak is great value for money. The room is also lovely with good lighting. The service, however, was not great. We got sat on our table and we’re waiting for over 10 minutes before even being acknowledged and getting a menu. From then on, getting their attention was hard. It was a while before we ordered, and when we asked for the bill she forgot about us until we made eye contact and she realised. Also, we got seated in the back corner of the room. I asked for us to be moved to a table for 2 in the centre of the room that was free, but got denied because it had a later reservation. The table was left free for nearly an hour while we were sitting there having dinner, and could tue later reservation not have been moved to our table instead? A bit rude to have a request like that denied when it sat there free for a while and the swap could have easily been made.

    Where to eat and what to order ? Glenelg Public House is EXCEPTIONAL- no other word for it. We have been there over 50 times in the past few years and have NEVER once had an imperfect meal. The wagyu eye, roasted pumpkin with orange sauce, mash potatoes, house made bread and butter-PERFECTION. Great atmosphere- cosy industrial styled dinning and great welcoming management. You will not be disappointed- generally you have to book ahead a few days or you won’t get a table- we would recommend to anyone wanting to get or have a truly magnificent steak. Love love love this place.
