   The Globe in has various rooms for eating in - we were in the ground floor bar and it was lovely. The Open Table booking site makes things very confusing - better to just contact the restaurant.

   The team at the Globe looked after us well on our first visit. We had a relaxed and delicious lunch and look forward to visiting again.

   We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Everything was great, from the welcome (we arrived early) to the service and the beautifully presented and delicious food. Thoroughly recommend, especially to appreciate the unique surroundings and historical connection to Robert Burns.

   Excellent quality of food including the wee extras for canopies. Service was exceptional. Can't say enough about the food. Second to none. This was atreat for our daughters 30th and she got a surprise gift when we finished. All in all a fantastic experience. Even our wee chihuahua was made welcome in the snug.

   Our dinner at The Globe was absolutely lovely. The service was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about each course. The dining room is cosy and quiet, we went on a drizzly Wednesday in November, so it wasn’t full, but still had a nice atmosphere. The food was really beautiful (we had the tasting menu) - delicious and considered flavour combinations, gorgeously and carefully presented with some lovely Scottish produce. The cheese board was the best I’ve had, excellent variety of cheeses and accompaniments, with a number of local ones. A really lovely treat of an evening.

   We had been to the globe once before which was out standing so decided to book a table for our daughters birthday ,well it didn’t disappoint everything was exceptional the food was delicious, staff attentive ,service excellent, we had wonderful evening a well deserved 5 stars

   Welcomed nicely but then left for 20mins before being offered a drink. Once we ordered the delicious tasting menu the service was excellent.

    Beautifully presented, attention to detail and exquisite food. Up with any off the Michelin Star restaurants I've been to. Although we just went for three 2/3 course a la carte, gorgeous canapes, amuse bouch and petite fours are included. Excellent value for truly spectacular food.
