                                This was our second trip here. The Gloriette is a beautiful venue, but we were a little disappointed in that the service was slow, the food arrived lukewarm which is a great disappointment. Prices are competitive, however. I think this business model needs to be revisited. My opinion is rather than have an attempt at fine dining this place could accomplish much more with a toned-down menu, i.e. casual dining, sandwiches, gumbo, soup, a meat and three type dishes. I don't think this restaurant is as competitive in Covington as it should be because of their effort at gourmet dining.

                                We had a really fun time for a birthday dinner. The dining room is beautiful, decorated in muted pastels with warm lighting. We loved the mussels and the redfish entree. Cocktails were delicious (an old fashioned, a lemon drop martini). The absolute best part was the friendly service. We are still talking about our charming server “David / Nathan / Anthony” *you know who you are! The other servers and hostess were helpful and friendly too. We were able to linger over dinner, laugh, and truly enjoy ourselves. What a gem of a place !

                                Food was so bad that not only did we send back food but so did the table next to us. The waitress was amazing and I feel sorry for her. This place won’t survive.

                                I am absolutely obsessed with the Gloriette! I’ve brought family and friends there, and they all have loved it. I have the same experience every time I dine there, whether it’s for dinner or brunch. I highly recommend it!

                                If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had a birthday luncheon for my 96 year old mother. The staff assisted us with arranging an absolutely stunning floral arrangement, a birthday cake and seating in a beautiful alcove. The service was impeccable; the staff made my mother feel so special. The food was so divine. If you are in Covington, this restaurant is a must.

                                We enjoyed the brunch menu and had a wonderful time for my wife’s birthday celebration. The food was delicious and since they eliminated the open kitchen which existed in the previous iteration of this space the noise level was significantly reduced. Our server was wonderful. Great experience.

                                Nice restaurant. While the food was good, I would not say it was outstanding. However, our server, Destin, was outstanding! Personable, friendly, and right on point with the questions we asked about several of their cocktails.
