Sitting proudly on the west side of Edinburgh's Bruntfield links, The Golf Tavern is a cosy pub that offers traditional Scottish cuisine and an extensive drinks menu. Located at 30-31 Wrights Houses, overlooking the Bruntsfield golf course, the pub is 10 minutes from Haymarket station by car or taxi or 20 minutes by bus or on foot. The restaurant – formerly known as the Golf Hotel – first opened its doors to the world in 1456, making it one of the oldest establishments in the world! A recent refurbishment has given the unique, authentic 500 year-old interior a new look with a modern twist. The food on offer is fresh and of a commendable standard, while comfortable, lounge-style seating makes this restaurant a great place to while away the hours. With fun filled activities such as Beer Tasting Mondays, Open Mic Tuesdays, Quiz Night Wednesdays and Live Music Fridays, The Golf Tavern is a pub for all occasions.
