   Best Sunday roast I’ve had in a long time…maybe ever?! Huge portions and a delicious menu. Terrific Bloody Marys too!

   Went on a Saturday night and the food and service were very good We had a table for 2 booked but the dining room in particular was extremely noisy so we had to move (we are mid 40s so not deaf yet 😀) Unfortunately the food took an hour and a quarter to arrive but the staff were very apologetic We will return once the kitchen is ready and a few soft furnishings wouldn’t go amiss

   I almost don’t want to give this a good review because it is becoming increasingly difficult to get a table.. The food is so good- fresh quality produce and although smallish menu every dish is delicious, also great Margheritas and affordable good wine. Also the playlist is brilliant so basically everything you want in a pub - quality food, warm atmosphere and great cocktails.

   Fab newly reopened pub. Lively, relaxed and great food. Excellent front of house management and a decent wine list! Definitely worth a visit and great if you are a local. The Sunday roast was very good.

   One one of the Best pubs in Crouch End! Rachel, the manager, was incredibly helpful in accommodating our booking, and the entire staff made our visit truly unforgettable. The Sunday roast was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

   Exceptional food and very good wine selection in this newly renovated local, on a par with anything we’ve eaten recently in central London. The warm friendly team gracefully accommodated our picky food foibles, every dish was fabulous (OMG short ribs!), and we had a really wonderful evening. It has become a busy local venue so don’t expect a quiet night but the buzz was fabulous and just added to our enjoyment! Can’t wait to try Sunday lunch!

   Have been several times since the kitchen opened a few months ago, menu is very well executed and everything we have tried has been delicious. The bavette is a standout dish and the homemade horseradish sets it off beautifully. Our new go-to if we are eating out in Crouch End.

   We had a an absolutely lovely evening, and the food was amazing. We came for dinner and to see the live music, "The Boneshakers", which both were an absolute treat. The Lady greeting us when we arrived was outstanding in her service, super friendly and very attentive, even got a blanket for the dogs to sit on. The only small minus point was the temperature, we felt a bit chilly, especially in the dining room, but its nothing that would keep us from not returning!

    Wonderful experience Finally got to the pub for Sunday lunch after its reopening and it was worth the wait! Really helpful friendly staff, dog friendly even with a big greyhound. Vegan roast wellington was tasty and veg all nicely cooked not soft and boiled for hours! Pork belly tender and nice crackling, really good ingredients. Already looking forward to coming back during the week just to chat and chew with friends. Live music is coming soon so another reason to drop in! 🥂
