   Unfortunately had to have 3rd choice wine as first two unavailable! Food was ok but Roast potatoes were severely overcooked as was the Yorkshire pudding. Service was excellent and attentive!

We do strive to keep all menu items available, but occasionally, some may sell out and we’re sorry to hear that this was the case with several wines when you visited.    Once a month a group of friends from Scothern eat out as a social looking for a really good restaurant offering a high quality dining experience. Here the food was outstanding, we were a party of 10 and everyone was happy with their food. The service was the best we have received in the Lincoln area. The surroundings were top quality, although probably one of the more expensive restaurants we have visited, the group were more than happy to pay the extra as it was worth it. I know that some of the group members will be visiting the restaurant for lunch. Top notch food, service and overall experience.

   Our visit to The Grain Store was an absolute treat. Everything about the evening was perfect. I couldn't fault any aspect. The food was excellent as were the staff and everything about the venue. Well done everyone, we enjoyed a memorable evening.

   Really good food, good quality burgers and a huge jacket potato. Lovely setting and music at a minimum which was great as we could talk and hear each other easily. Professional and friendly service too.

   Such a lovely valentines dining experience from start to finish. High quality food, beautifully presented and delicious flavours. Service was discreet though attentive and personal as well as professional. The atmosphere was lovely, pianist was a special touch as was the rose at each table. The venue was clean, modern, spacious but also able to create an intimate feel for dining couples. It’s a rare find to have good food, professional service with a smile and all presented in lovely surroundings.

   Food very nice although whoever decided that presenting a scallop in it's shell on a bed of sand should think again as too easy to rest your fork or knife in the sand. Disappointing to be seated downstairs where the seats are not that comfortable for dining.

   Food was lovely but portion sizes were very small I had or order an extra dish after having a full breakfast.

    Breakfast was very good indeed and my reason for overall being 4stars rather than 5stars is the menu. A pancake dish and a fish dish would have meant 5 stars all round.
