A really lovely meal, clearly freshly cooked after we ordered. Service was excellent too. Definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic meal at the Granby had 3course opted for Steak extra £5 but well worth it was amazing. We will definitely return to try other dishes. Service was friendly felt really relaxed.

It has been many years since we dined at the Granby and it is definitely in need of an upgrade. Restaurant is looking very tired. Waitress was quite unfriendly and service slow. However, food was lovely

The food and the service were excellent, we were there for the steak night and the price was also very good. The only aspect that we did not enjoy, considering that we had a reservation, was the table assigned, in the bar area and literally by the side of the men’s toilets, when they have a nicer restaurant area, with just a few people in it. To be fair, we did not ask to be moved, but we will next time, because we plan to come back.

We asked to be moved table as there was a noisy party next to us (screaming kid) and we were accommodated ok in the bar area. the bar was small but nice good atmosphere. Staff were very good and worked hard. The food was 50/50 the beef burger was delicious however the chicken in lemon and chilli was poor. very little lemon and no chilli experienced, but what was more disappointing was that the chicken breast was tough, obviously been left under a hot lamp I think toughening up the outer layer. Too many restaurants are guilty of this with meets that are delicate. Would I recommend the Granby yes I suppose if staying in the area there are basically 2 in the village to choose from, it was recommended to us, so maybe we were unlucky

hello, i am a bit confused as to the comments about our chicken dish as our dish doesn't have lemon or chilli in it?? it is with a potato terrine & pea & lettuce cream sauce?? maybe you have reviewed the wrong restaurant?

The food was excellent but we waited 45minutes for it despite it not being busy. The wait might not have been as bad but the place lacked any kind of ambience - the young waiter was pleasant but apart from him, there was no interaction apart from the absolute necessary to order food. Such a shame as the food was very good.
