The GG is our local but I do not tend to like it very much as it is often unbelievably noisy. However today was my bets experience ever - it was relatively quiet in the upstairs dining room at lunch time and the staff (who were generally very kind) agreed to turn down the music significantly which allowed for normal conversation and made for a great business lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to see puntarella on the menu – quite unique in London., It had a little too much dressing for my liking but the house cured trout was once again fantastic.

The food was excellent and we were impressed with the variety of non-alcoholic drink options available. The dessert menu looked great as well but we didnt get chance to try it.

Ambiance and service were perfect. Sunday roast was very tasty. Pork was the favorite, lamp and veal was a bit chewy. But great in taste.

For the price of this roast I was expecting great things. The sharing roast is the biggest waste of money and was so disappointing! That one plate of food which cost £28pp so £112 in total for the 4 of us is actually disgraceful. You’re much better off just getting your own dish to start with. Any time I ever go out for a roast the roast potatoes are always disappointing. You’d think that for £28 pp the roasties here would be good but honestly they were some of the worst. So so stale! Tasted like they had been left under a hot pass for hours. Drinks were overpriced. It was so so loud! Really found all of it disappointing!

Dear antonio, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're really sorry to hear that your experience with our sharing roast did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in the quality of our food and service, so it's disappointing to hear that both the roast potatoes and overall value did not live up to what you had hoped for. We appreciate your comments about the noise levels and drink prices as well. We understand that a lively atmosphere isn't for everyone, and we’ll certainly take your feedback on board as we continuously look for ways to improve. Hopefully you give us a chance on another occasion Jagoda

The food was nice, however we got the sharing roast for 4, and it wasn’t enough for us to try each of the meats, or try enough of everything. The vegetables (minus potatoes) were also more of a garnish - a pleasant meal, but disappointing for the price we paid.

Great food and service. Bar far to loud for a dinner booking competing with extremely loud Friday night drinkers.
