Modern Middle Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant with exceptional selection of salads and charcoal grilled selection of meats. We offer dine in option as well as take home meals. The Green specializes in A'la Carte restaurant up to 60 seats, take home meal as well as Private Parties, Corporate and Press Events, Weddings and other celebrations for groups from 5 to 150. We feature beautiful private event spaces perfect for any occasion, as well as the option to book the entire restaurant. Menus range from passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails to our diverse shared menus for seated dinner.

Accommodating groups from 5 to 150, The Green offers four private event spaces in addition to our main dining room, each unique and centred around your party’s individual needs. This is one of my favourite lunch venues and happy to travel from Bardon to go . Today they were busy and that’s great but our service wasn’t great . We had to ask to be served from getting our first drink to our main meal. Little disappointed to be honest

We had the Gathering menu and it was truly delicious. So filling we couldn’t finish it all, and we gave it a good try! Hommus has to be pretty good to wow most of us these days and it was a wow. Green fattoush salad, yum. Delicious chicken. Hot fluffy middle eastern bread with herbs and salt. And the best dressed potatoes I’ve had in a long while. Amazingly only $55pp for all that. I’ll be back.

Whenever I am away for a weekend or for holidays staying in James Street, The Green is a must to dine at, the place is full of beautiful plants and a really fun welcoming vibe. I have always had lunch there and could not fault the food or the service, but on this occasion I decided to dine in for breakfast and like the lunch menu it’s creative and super exciting to try breakfast in a bit of a not so normal basis way. I love The Green and it will always be a must to dine at for breakfast or lunch and definitely next time I will book for dinner.

Food was beautiful but quite small serves. Service was great but VERY fast so we were served and cleaned away in 45 minutes! Would be a great place to get quick world day lunch.
