   Friendly staff Great roast beef- tender beef and good selection of vegetables. Is definitely eat here again.

   The gluten free options were not great. The server was amazing and noticed just before I started to eat something that I had been served an item that had gluten rather than it being gluten free. There was no separate fryer for chips which I am told is not the norm, so ended up with a burger and salad. They did however discount me for this but overall it wasn’t the best food experience as a coelaic and I wouldn’t recommend it to other gluten free people.

   Unexpectedly delicious late Sunday lunch - roast beef for husband- one of best very long time apparently- sea bass for me, that came with very fresh herb salsa, decent size fish perfectly cooked and fresh veggies. Dog friendly and overall friendly service. If there was a but, slightly too loud music behind me that on a few tracks distracting… We’ve been to much more upmarket places for Sunday lunch and had indifferent food, so great job team Griffin! First food visit but will be back. Thanks.

   Food was great - both beef and chicken pies and the burger !!! Nice cozy pub with friendly staff and not overpriced. Not disappointed

    Fantastic evening and I would highly recommend. We wanted a cosy pub with good relaxed atmosphere and tasty food for an evening meal, and this is exactly what we got. We were a table of 5, aged between 22 and 81! The staff were great and nothing a problem. The food portions were just right with good choice. A few things were sold out, but that is always a good sign - different options were offered so still plenty to choose from. We would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely evening.
