When we were dreaming dreams and drawing drawings of our brand new clubhouse, we wanted to create something that goes far beyond your typical golf course restaurant.

The Grille was always intended, and indeed is, a place where family, friends, residents, neighbors and the entire Richmond community can come together and enjoy each other’s company. Amazing food is an essential part of the experience, but we keep it reasonably priced so that everyone can enjoy.

Our seating setup is designed to create spaces for every occasion – from the private and intimate Reserve room for special dinners, as well as the high tops, traditional tables and 10 TVs scattered throughout. Special attention was paid to make the entire facility wheelchair friendly.

The food was fine for the price. The problem was the service. Something went wrong between the waiter taking the order and placing it in the kitchen. Our nachos came out timely. It took an extra hour to get the entrees because those orders weren’t placed with the kitchen. We ended up taking most of the food home.

The food and the service were excellent. Cannot recommend trying this place enough. This is our first time eating here and we will absolutely be coming back.

Music was very loud, we couldn’t hear each other speak or hear our waiter. We had a party of four and it took almost an hour for our food to come out. Everyone enjoyed their food except one in my party who ordered the steak kabobs and indicated they were very dry with no flavor.

Pizza ( by Tony) was great and beautiful view on the patio. Our server Taylor was the best!

Our first waitress, who seemed new, took our drink and appetizer order, but then kept us waiting 15 min only to tell us she couldn’t take our dinner order because her shift was ending and a new waiter would help us. That added another 5-10 minutes to our wait, not good. Phillipe our new waiter was awesome and did an excellent job. But our dinner entrees (enchiladas and French dip) were not good at all. The sauce on the enchiladas was very bad. And the French dip meat was dry and overcooked. Overall review: the venue decor itself is very nice, the outdoor seating with golf course views is beautiful. However, a more limited menu of a few very well made entrees would be a great improvement over a lot of choices of very subpar tasting food. And employing a better chef/cook to help improve the quality of the food would really set this place off. Also, the younger kids hired to wait on tables could use a lot more training. This place has great potential, but it is lacking in these areas.

Very average nothing special waited for drinks food came out wrong asked for no salt or spice they remade it but husband finished eating before I even got mine. Was hoping for a good local place to frequent. This is not it.

We have been to the Grille many times and it has varied from excellent to not good at all. This visit was very good. The only issue was that the appetizer came out just before the main dishes and we had to ask about the length of time it was taking. Other than that, everything else was excellent. The food was great and the service was very good. We were surprised when we got the bill that they removed the entrees for the father's for Father's Day. That was amazing and nothing we expected. Well done, the Grille at Magnolia Green!!!
