The Cafe food and drinks menu is bursting with fresh flavour, made with the finest quality ingredients and created with The Grounds own grown and locally sourced produce. The Cafe at The Grounds has team of chefs who constantly push the boundaries and reinvents the classics in order to deliver you perfect flavour combinations that will make you want to come back time and time again.

NOTE: At The Cafe, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to dine in, we operate on a walk-in only basis for smaller tables during peak hours. If no tables are available on arrival, we will add you to an electronic waiting list and text you when your table is ready, leaving you free to explore the rest of The Grounds. Rest assured, all groups on the wait list will be able to dine-in on the day.

Came to see the Snow White display and have lunch with her. Display was so disappointing. Cafe is too dark and feels really dirty. The two goats I feel sorry for them. Children’s play area is dangerous as it has an opening in the left back corner. Kids can get out and hurt themselves behind there. Have been to a lot of cafes and restaurants and would never go back to the grounds.

This is such a cute and amazing cafe! Love how they do different themes in the garden. The food was very delicious and fresh! Highly recommend if you’re visiting or live in Sydney.

My wife’s meal took almost an hour to arrive and after i complained to 4 different wait staff. Totally screwed up the birthday !! They did apologise but this definitely should not have occurred!! They adjusted the bill to compensate but we would rather the service was better. They screwed up our celebration!

The cafe was really loud to enjoy the ambiance - but that’s fine, the food offering was average (unless you’re going there for Tea and cakes) the service was ok. I sat there while both my friends meal arrived, two tables beside me who arrived and ordered after me received their food, mine was nowhere to be seen. When I questioned it, with confusion and a wrong meal, my meal came out and it was warm. No apology or explanation. I flew from Melbourne to experience this cafe and I must say, it was a disappointment.

We were so excited for Claris Mouse visit and we went to go inside the entrance and we were ushered straight into the cafe instead of the themed room so the vibe was gone straight away. Then I thought we would walk through the themed area while our breakfast was being ordered only to be stopped and told we need a receipt first before going through. I explained I had children and it was a good time for them to go for a walk while we waited but they wouldn’t budge. So we finally walked through at the end and my kids were tired and had enough. It was overcrowded and the staff made us feel like we were on a time limit and interrupted our conversations to constantly. It was disappointing because we have been here before and loved it

We do have a maximum seating time at the table to ensure all reservations that a pre booked are sat at their allocated time, however this should not effect your experience so I apologise you were interrupted, I will talk to the team regarding these issues so thank you for your feedback. Our laneways are for dining customers so a proof of receipt upon entry is mandatory, sorry to hear this effected your experience with your children. Hope we hit the mark on your next visit.
