Our vision is simple. Great, honest, local food and drink served by great people.

We will use locally sourced food where possible.

We serve the pub classics, but also want to produce some amazing dishes from around the world. We also want to bring you some great seafood and game.

In the Summer of 2022, we will open our outdoor kitchen and Pizza Oven where we will hold ‘Pizza & Bubbles’ events with freshly made gourmet pizzas, served with Champagne along with some live music. For more information please look at the Events section.

We also make most of our own products and bake our own bread and pastries.

We are a dog-friendly pub that allow diners and their pooches to eat in the bar lounge and Saddle Room. We have some comfortable beds for your best friend and some treats as long as they are good ...

Excellent Sunday lunch. I was offered a Yorkshire pudding after they asked if I was veggie or vegan which was a nice touch. Beautiful dog friendly pub with great service. in a beautiful pub which was dog friendly.

Great to get back after a couple of cancellations due to Covid. Lovely welcome, great staff and beautiful food served in a timely manner. A super experience and will definitely be back!

Surprisingly full for a Thursday night which boded well. Had the tofu and harissa salad an the red Thai tofu curry which were good although a little sweet for my taste. Service was excellent. Had queried earlier that afternoon whether the monkfish would be on the specials menu, but was met with a blank stare when I asked at the table. All turned out well as they had had a delivery that day and were happy to prepare a monkfish dish for my wife. Will probably go back again.

Fantastic food, lovely dining areas and very attentive staff couldn’t fault this place. They offer a varied menu to suit all tastes, it was difficult to pick just one choice. We were so impressed we went back the next day with family to sample their Sunday Roast which again didn’t disappoint, very generous servings. There’s is also a very nice garden and I see they have an outdoor kitchen which would be lovely for the summer months. Will be going again very soon.

Lovely place to go for a meal, food was well done, would have been a 5 but my husbands fish and chips was a very small serving. We sat in the garden which was lovely, the pub is on the A4 so there is occasional road noise but half way through the meal they put on some music, a good selection just loud enough to distract from the road noise but not too loud to disturb conversation. We will be back.
