Food was disappointing. Fish tacos fried extremely hard, rice was hard and overcooked. Everything lacked any flavor and the portion sizes for the price were not good!

There is no lunch menu. It is brunch (breakfasty items you can elevate to lunch). Food d was taaty but menu small. Waitstaff do not check inon you soon enough (3rd time there, same experience: waitstaff are alao bartender ao they are mixing drinks while you wait for them to show up to aak for ketchup!) Good location, good food, will go again because it is convenient to UMD. Hope they retrain staff to visit table often.

Waitress was fantastic. Everything else was pretty poor. Bar was backed up... took longer to get a draft beer than a pizza. Took 30 mins for a cocktail. Would have ordered double the drinks had they come with any normal speed. Patrons holding down half the bar seats with bags and coats was pretty poor form, too. One guy looked like he bought half his wardrobe. Perhaps ownership generally unaware how bars make money. Place seemed unprepared on an obvious busy night-- MD basketball game vs top 15 opp, and home football game next day.

Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback on your experience this past Friday. We apologize for the delayed drink service. Due to the extremely busy night and volume of guests, we briefly ran out of clean glassware. To clarify your other concerns, no one was holding down bar seats. This was a reservation made by a guest that was designated for those barstools by management. Like most restaurants, we have a reservation system in place for guests to secure tables/seats prior to coming in. We encourage you to use OpenTable to book something in advance of busy nights like game days to guarantee you will have a spot to sit. We also appreciate your concern for our business tactics, but a home game the following day has no bearing on how we prepare for the previous night.

Excellent experience before a football game. Service was very good. The food was good and we enjoyed the special drink offerings.

Ate brunch and the choices were odd and there was no “traditional breakfast” or a la carte to build one. The food came out in 3 shifts separated by about 5 minutes (there were 5 of us and 2 entree’s came out, then 2 more, then the last…each delivery about 5 minutes apart. No one offered to refill water or coffee. We then sat with dirty dishes in front of us for 15 minutes until we finally saw our waitress and was able to get the check. And the food was average and still expensive for breakfast. Wanted this to be great, but honestly disappointing. Oh, and we were only one of less than 5 total tables in the restaurant.

Hey Jason, thanks for the feedback! We are sorry to hear that your experience at The Hall was subpar. The restaurant was not super busy yesterday morning so this is a little disappointing to hear. However, if you would like to provide more details and/or send a direct message we would love to get some more specific information on your visit and how we can improve upon future experiences. Just for future reference, our brunch menu offers over 20 unique options that are all customizable, as well as the option to order a la carte things like eggs, bacon, toast etc. so we apologize if that was unclear during your visit. the average price for a brunch entree is $15, and our portion sizes are set to reflect that pricing based on ingredients.

Came with a party of five for UMD Family Weekend. We originally booked for an outdoor table and appreciated the hostess an accommodating our request for an indoor table due to the rain. There were several tables with customers as you entered, but the rest of the tables were empty. We passed all of the empty tables and were seated all the way in the back in a separate room- in the “party hall”. Our server was Bella and she was very bubbly and pleasant however was not attentive at all. We waited 45 minutes for our entrees delivered by a runner, received no refills on our waters, and was checked on at the end of our meal. Meanwhile the rest of the tables in the front were being filled with patrons—- and we noticed their orders were brought to their tables quickly while we sat in the back hall disconnected from the restaurant. After 25 minutes, I decided to hunt down our server, Bella, with no luck so a hostess went to find her. It took 25 minutes to find her to get the bill as we had a busy day. Overall, the food was fine. Based on previous reviews, service IS slow and if that’s improved it would be better. I also think putting customers all the way in a back room with no one else around doesn’t set a good vibe. With so many other empty tables we didn’t understand why we weren’t seated in the main restaurant. Mixed feelings on this spot.

Got two separate reservations as I used this venue for a wedding rehearsal dinner with over 20 people. The servers did their best to accommodate seating and the food and drinks came out at a reasonable time. Everyone seemed to like the food and drinks provided. Overall, a great spot for bigger parties as they have a lot of room for large reservations well beyond 20-30 people. Highly recommended! Also, very affordable!
