First time at the Hamilton, for our anniversary. Mentioned the anniversary and requested a quiet location when making the reservation. Library-esque decor. Sparkling holiday lights and fireplace. Much smaller than expected. Seated in a plush velvet horseshoe booth, directly across (4’) from a drinking party of 10 older women. Very loud. Drinks (a Stout and wine) were good. 50/50 satisfaction on food: I had the filet which came with mashed potatoes, and a Caesar salad. Salad was decent, steak and potatoes excellent. Husband had Portobello pasta and the Hatch chili corn. Corn was tasty — excellent. The pasta was “musty” and underwhelming. For dessert we ordered crème brûlée which seemed to be curdled. Odd texture and taste. We did not finish it. Waiter did a good job. We’ve been hoping to find an intimate, romantic, relaxing place for special meals. This one is probably more suited to “energetic” (anyone other than me hate that euphemism?) group events.

Have been here several times. Weird smell this time. The Hamilton Wedge was not consistent. Flat iron steak portion varied. We ordered several and the portions were all different. Very nice and attentive server.
