We wanted to take our boy for his birthday as he loves airplanes. We saw the review of the restaurant in Emeril's Florida review and looked great. We arrived and it took them a while to seat us, which is fine even though was not busy. We sat outside and our boy loved watching the airplanes. The chicken tenders for kids were great , food overall good. Salads very basic I have to say a bit dissapointing, but the fish tacos were good. Overall it was okey but I have to give the restaurant low rating as the service was terrible, slow and the waitress was not very kind. Sorry I really wanted to love it and we did for watching the airplanes, but food was just okey and service Was dissapointing.

Fun place for watching the small plane flight activity in this small airport, with a view of the water also. But it's essentially a diner, and quite noisy. It was OK for a bit of fun, and perhaps a good place to go with children, but we were disappointed with the food. I had a Brie quesadilla and the tortilla had herbs in it which wasn't as advertised and I didn't like. My husband wasn't crazy about his sandwich either but I liked it. It was OK as a diner.

Best part was watching the planes take off. When we arrived for dinner there was a live music duet playing. It was too loud to sit inside so eventually we moved outside and it was much better. Call ahead to reserve an outside table. The planes taking off/landing is the draw for this place. The food was good not great. Very casual. Kids liked it.

We came here after going to the Dali museum, you can just walk across the street. The kids had the best time watching the planes. Staff went out of their way to get us a table outside. The planes can be loud and also there are some fumes, but it was worth that for a first hand look at a small airport operating.

Every time we visit St. Petersburg, we make a stop at The Hangar. This is a casual place in which you can eat casual food in a nice setting. The highlight is obviously to watch small planes depart and land, but the food is great as well! Never had bad service either!! Always a must stop for our family!

Our table was right near the kitchen door which was a bad location. We were also near the singer which was a little loud. It took quite a while for a server to come to our table initially, but the service after that was fine. Two of us enjoyed our meals, however, the fish tacos that came out looked like they had been sitting for awhile- not very hot and the sauce had congealed.

Food was good and prices were reasonable. Normally the view would have been of the airport and the bay but they were staging for the race. The grand stands obstructed the view.

Had reservation at 5:45. Arrived on time. told they didn't take reservations on Mahaffey night, web site was wrong, going to be fixed some day. Waited 25 minutes for table, misses 7:00 mahaffey event. Waitress and food good.

A fun evening evening listening to our friends Liz Pennock and Dr Blues. Our meal was wonderful and Ryan our waiter was exceptional!!!!!!!! Sat outside and shot some great pics. Went inside for music and food. We loved it and loved all the staff we met. Beth and Kirk
