   The service, food and ambience was excellent. We ate off the starter menu for dinner. It was enough food. The meatball dish and salads were very good. The service was very good for us as well as what we observed for the other diners! A gem.

   Checked into this establishment and was seated at the bar. Very nice establishment. They do have a great wine list and the range of prices reflect that. Service was ok, had the feeling that the check-in and service hand-off might not have been the greatest. Had the salmon burger. Absolutely top notch.

   What a disappointing experience. First, we ordered the coquettes to start - which the waitress completely forgot about. I ordered the chicken - it was tasteless and all dark meat. I know it said half a chicken - but i assumed it would be both white and dark meat. The French fries were great - the only editable thing on my plate. My friend got the trout which was oily and tasteless. We barely touched either entrees - and the waitress didn’t even seem to care. It was over 100 for a dinner we didn’t even eat - and neither of us ordered drinks! We were so hungry that we went down the street to district taco after.

   We had some “snacks” and cocktails followed by a delicious brownie dessert at the bar. Service was warm, quick and attentive and we loved everything we had!

   The Henri is a wonderful restaurant-- one of our absolute favorites in Washington DC. It serves creative and tasty French-style cuisine. My wife adores their lobster main course. Most recently I had their braised pork main dish, and enjoyed it very much. Service is excellent. And for a fine French restaurant in the nation's capital, the prices are quite reasonable.

   Second visit within a year coming from out of town. David not only remembered us, but took time to say hello and catch up on things. Nothing else to say except, stop by and you’ll understand.

   Once again, everything was perfection. The current entrees are delectable! In a group of six we had spars, beet salad, pomme frites, and salmon salad to begin, followed by Grilled shrimp over couscous, lamb shank, dorado grilled fish, and a few rotisserie chickens. Everything disappeared and we are content! We will be back!

    Disappointed. This was my third experience at Henri. The first was a dinner which was good. The second was an event which was spectacular. Tonight was disappointing. The rotisserie chicken consisted of two legs and nothing else, no thighs no breast just two legs. The plate was covered in french fries to make it look full. Being the host, I didn’t feel I was in a position to complain. If you don’t have enough chicken let the server tell you they are out.
