This is my third time to The Henry and the worst of all three. Our waiter wasn’t real friendly and felt like he was pushing us along even though the restaurant wasn’t fully. I got the Asian ahi salad which I enjoyed previously but this time it was swimming in dressing and had about 5 pieces of overcooked tuna. It just was an okay experience this time and I’m not sure I would recommend it like I have in the past.

We ate on a Saturday for 12:30 brunch. It seemed that the restaurant was short-staffed, as our waiter was working multiple tables in our space on the enclosed porch and in the interior dining room. We had to wait over ten minutes before even getting a drink order. It then took an hour to get our food and another 20 minutes to get the check. We didn't leave the restaurant until 2:15pm. Very slow service, expensive and the food was just ok. We will probably not return.

Another great experience at The Henry. We celebrated a great friend’s birthday with delicious food, attentive and delightful service, and a great time. Shout out to the young man working the valet parking stand on Saturday, too - he was terrific. We WILL be back!

Pretty good food. Waited for over ten minutes before a waiter stopped by and they said nothing about the wait.

Wonderful menu with wide selection of food, delicious meal, excellent service, attractive atmosphere with outdoor eating options. If you have to pay to park, be sure to tell your waiter when you arrive and get a discount otherwise it’s super expensive.

The Henry is one of those places that immediately makes you want to settle in and enjoy the moment. The service stands out right away—attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and clearly proud of the experience they’re delivering. The food lives up to that same standard: thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and consistently excellent, whether you’re stopping in for a relaxed brunch or a casual dinner. What really elevates The Henry is its location in 12 South, one of the most vibrant and walkable areas in Nashville. The neighborhood has an easy, welcoming energy, with tree-lined streets, local boutiques, coffee shops, and some of the city’s most popular spots all within a short stroll. It feels both lively and laid-back at the same time—a perfect reflection of Nashville’s creative spirit. The 12 South area is especially fun to explore because there’s always something new to discover. From shopping and people-watching to grabbing coffee or popping into another restaurant nearby, it’s an area that rewards wandering. Seeing so many great places clustered together makes it exciting to visit, and The Henry fits right into that rhythm as a reliable anchor for great food and great service in one of the city’s best neighborhoods.

The Henry has a lively, upscale-neighborhood vibe, polished but approachable, with a sophisticated NYC/European energy. Guests love the decor, live music on the patio and the buzzing bar scene.
