A must for Happy Hour! We came before a show at Bass Concert Hall. They have a lot of $6 cocktails and appetizers. We enjoyed the green beans, corn, and queso fundido. The cocktails were great too! We enjoyed!

The Hightower has a gastro-pub feel, an interesting menu, friendly service, and a relaxed, local atmosphere. It's close to the hipster party on East Sixth, but not in the middle of it, which makes it less crowded and more inviting, even on weekends. The menu has interesting stuff, and the food is really good. Not quite "top restaurant" quality, but a notch above what you might expect to find in a bar. I kind of like that: the whole place feels like a job well done, without trying too hard or taking itself too seriously, and that seems to describe the people who go there too. It's less "see and be seen" and more "have a good time."

I love The Hightower and have always had a great experience. The food was delicious and creative! Our server was competent, friendly and unobtrusive. We will be back!

Went for Saturday brunch and enjoyed a sunny December day on the patio, watching the coming and going on 7th Street. Really enjoyed the chicken biscuit and also the fried chicken and waffle. Interesting taste combinations, including ginger maple syrup. Great service from Jeremy! Will definitely return. Other goodies to try on the menu.

This place is a gem! The food was delicious. We tried the beef tartare, queso, brussel sprouts, roasted pork jowl and of course most of the cocktails. During happy hour this place is a steal for the quality of food. Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Very good except you need some wine glasses with stems for small arthritic hands to hold on to.

The food was delicious and the staff were really nice. It was just slow service. The beef tartar was amazing and so were the Brussels sprouts. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was so good. My cousin really enjoyed his birthday.
