   I will preface my review that it was on Valentines Day. However, I picked The Hill for the romantic culinary experience and we were disappointed. We arrived ten minutes before our 9pm reservation and were told it would be awhile before we could get seated so we went to the bar. The bartenders were slow and couldn't handle the crowd. Asked for a 2nd drink, never got it but was charged for it. The bartender apologized and took it off. The appetizer we both ordered had beets and goat cheese. The beets were fried in bread crumbs and the goat cheese was melted. I thought it was a healthy beet salad but had no idea from the menu description it would be the way it came out. Next we both ordered rhe Surf & Turf. We both enjoyed the lobster tail but the filets were overcooked. I asked for medium and she asked for medium well. I received medium well and hers was a hockey puck so she didn't eat it. For dessert I had a tasty cinnamon cheesecake but she tried the strawberry tiramisu and didn't like it and she loves tiramisu. Service was just OK but all were very nice. I would never choose to go back but if someone else picked it I would go. Overall spent over $400 on food and liquor and thw meal wasn't that good so it didn't meet my expectations based on the history of the chef owner.

   The food was pretty good, my main issue was really the wait time. My reservation was for 9 pm but didn’t sit until 10. Took another hour for the food. It’s worth noting that it was on Valentine’s Day so the restaurant may have been busier than usual.

   Pretty busy due to it being valentine's day but the food was spectacular, would recommend. The staff was incredibly nice.

   We have eaten at The Hill many times and had excellent food. I was optimistic that the Valentine's Day prix fixe menu would be equally good but, sadly it did not live up to the hype or the price. Service was OK not great. One waitress mistook the seared tuna for steak so... lacked experience. I personally would not go back for a holiday meal.

   We went for Valentine’s. They only had prix fixe which I didn’t realize, but it was fine. Because they were completely booked, service was slow and the food was even slower. The salmon ceviche was so-so. The surf and turf was good, but we had to send my son’s filet back twice because it was black and blue instead of medium -rare. And the desserts were so-so. I was surprised that the food wasn’t better especially at $95 pp and having to leave a $140 deposit to make the reservation.

   Lovely price fixed menu for Valentines Day, base portion size adequate, can easily be added to with bread course and extra's, service was attentive but not rushing with manager checking on satisfaction after first few swallows. Culinary expectations both met and exceeded. We'll be back, oops, said that the last time as well.

   The valentines course meal was average. We did not like the appetizer and dessert. The main course was delicious. The seating is quiet tight. Service is good.

   The service was good, and the ambiance was nice. Food was overall pretty good except my wife's lobster she had ordered came out half cooked and half raw. We didn't want to bother with it because it was Valentine's dinner and didn't want to make a fuss out of it. Will we return? Yes. We would as service was very good and I am sure they would correct any issues we address.

   This place is really pretty and the staff is very sweet. Sadly the food was not very good. The food lacked flavor. We got the salmon ceviche and it tasted like it was soaking in citrus all day. The salmon was fully cooked. And then the lobster we got was not fully cooked. It was our first time here but we would give them one more try.
