The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

Located in a lovely little country village, the Hinds Head is clean, the serving staff are friendly and efficient and the food was great.

We had Sunday lunch at the Hinds Head after a good country walk with our Spaniel. We had a lovely welcome and were shown to our table where our dog was welcome to sit with us. Ordering from the Sunday lunch menu, our food arrived very quickly and wow was it good. With empty plates we ordered a sweet. I would recommend the Hinds Head for a perfect eating out experience. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us.

The staff are all so warm, welcoming and friendly. It was our first visit as a family and had the Sunday Lunch. We each had a different roast and enjoyed equally. Food was hot and all tasted so good. Good desserts also. Well worth the drive out, well appointed building good for all ages with well stocked bar

Excellent food, good choice, like most restaurants, would like more vegetarian choices. Service and professional management excellent. The leadership and direction has really enhanced the Hinds Head over the last two years.

Really enjoyed our meal. Service was informal and friendly. We will certainly be back. We run an air bnb locally and will recommend they visit too.
