The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

Wonderful restaurant and pub. I am working my way through the entire menu. Every dish is expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and completely delicious. The service is never rushed and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I am already looking forward to my next trip to the UK and my next visit to the Hinds Head.

We have been to the Hinds Head 3 times now on 2 separate trips to the UK and intend to go back again tomorrow before we leave the UK. It is simply the most enjoyable dining experience we have had in the UK…period. We LOVE this pub. The staff is lovely. Everyone is kind, attentive and friendly. Walking in tonight was like seeing a group of old friends. The Pub is warm and welcoming. There are romantic tucked away corners with warm cozy wood burners in many of the dining areas. It is polished but not at all fussy. The food. The food! It is consistently fresh, expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. We have been to restaurants all over the UK and Ireland and the Hinds Head is the one we always want to come back to visit. This restaurant is by far my favorite place to visit. It is worth the drive. We will be visiting the UK again in the summer and we will make the trip to Norton-in-Hales to enjoy this lovely restaurant again.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. I had the slow cooked lamb shank, whilst my wife had the roast pork. Both cooked to perfection. Service was excellent as always. We are now booked for the new year eve set menu.

Our first visit following recommendation from a friend - simply, WOW! Chef here really knows what they are doing - be very proud of your skills. Definitely be back and will be recommending to our family and friends.

Lovely food and friendly service. Very positive attitude to dogs. Would definitely visit again and glad we found it.

We were seated quickly on our arrival. Drinks were served promptly. The menu had plenty of choice and we all enjoyed excellent food. I have only one negative comment, we were served too much food eg I don’t think chips are necessary with lasagne. However, the salad on that plate was so tasty and the dressing was lovely.

Had an amazing meal here for my 35th birthday service was impeccable as always. Food was absolutely delicious never had a bad experience here they go above and beyond every time.
