   I used to love House Brasserie but had such a bad experience last night that we actually left before even placing our dinner order. Our reservation was at 5:45 and our server didn’t even come greet us for 10 minutes. As she greeted us, the last person in our party was just arriving so we asked for a couple minutes to look at the drink menu. This was a mistake. She didn’t come back again for another 20 minutes. We put in our drink and appetizer order once she finally came back. Our wine took probably another 10 minutes to arrive because she broke the first cork and had to fetch another bottle. As soon as appetizers came, she asked us to place our dinner order which we weren’t exactly ready to do, so we asked again for a COUPLE minutes. She didn’t come back again for another 30 minutes. When she finally came back after multiple attempts to flag her down, we just asked for the check. She asked why and I simply told her that our reservation was at 5:45 and it’s now 7PM and youre just now checking in to take our dinner order. We spoke with the manager and he was not apologetic at all and said we refused service twice. In what world is checking in on a table TWICE in an hour and 15 minutes okay? Will not be back and will tell everyone to avoid.

   The Chilean Sea bass dish was simply outstanding, cooked perfectly served on a bed of very flavorful couscous. I would say the serving portions are generous, we could have split one order given we also ordered two side dishes. The signature chanterelle mushroom dish was nice, subtle in flavor, and the fondant potatoes, though delicious, might pair better with a steak dish. We indulged with the beignets and caramel sauce for dessert, quite delicious. Beautifully romantic atmosphere, especially nice to be able to have conversation with your dining partner. Our server was excellent( his first night!), and we would highly recommend this dining experience.

   We celebrated my birthday there and Jacob, our waiter, was fantastic! The food, the ambiance and the service made for a very memorable evening.

   This was our first time at The House Brasserie and it did not disappoint. The food and champagne was tremendous. Perfectly cooked filet and amazing Brussel sprouts. The food took a bit to come out but it was a busy Valentine’s night. The staff was gracious and transparent about this and even gave us complimentary wine for the delay. An all around wonderful experience and would go back anytime we are in Scottsdale.

   Waitress who gave us the fireplace spot and our server Cameron made our entire night. Ambiance was so romantic and food to die for. House brassiere never disappoints!

   It was an overall great experience. The salad and appetizers were great. It was very busy as it was Valentine’s Day. My fillet was cooked right but was cold. They immediately fixed the situation and it was very good. I would definitely recommend them.

    Server was very nice, menu is very limited, service coming out of the kitchen was slow. No bread service don’t go hungry. Bottom line, food was good, but not a good value…. I spent over $200 to leave hungry.
