We are situated in a heritage laneway warehouse within the CBD of Ballarat, an easy seven minute walk from the train station. Find us tucked away in the nook of McKenzie Street.

The large open space indoors with natural skylights, indoor plants, wood fire and air con creates a relaxed vibe. The outdoor dining space under the umbrellas lends itself to feel glorious yet secluded as you look up the laneway to the hustle of Ballarats' streets. Taste a classic menu with a twist offering an all day breakfast and lunch.

We are proud to use local flavours and produce from the region alongside our house roasted coffee.

We have easy access for prams and wheelchairs, and can cater for dietary requirements with our versatile menu.

Immerse yourself in a piece of Ballarat history, taking a moment to admire the restoration of the building from the early 50’s with the original sprinkler system on display.

Was disappointed food was average… poached eggs were hard… The waiters were overworked and kept apologising which was not there fault however after waiting 70 minutes 3 out of the booking of 4 got their meal and then another 15 minutes the other meal come out… the waiters were extremely apologetic again for the delays etc and we commented on the venue being understaffed etc she then explained they were down one chef due to illness… perhaps this could have been mentioned at the time of ordering to lower our expectations… Also it was extremely noisy not sure how you get around this but I would not recommend this venue if you were looking for a relaxed sunday morning breakfast

The coffee is amazing, the food delicious and the staff are all very friendly and professional. I would recommend this cafe to anyone who wants good service, food & beverages. Being a local, this is a go to for me and my friends. Well worth a visit.

Excellent service and delicious coffee and food. We had the breakfast board and it was amazing!

Love this place. Perfect for business meetings or breakfast/lunch with the family. Staff always friendly and food and coffee A+. Their in-house roasted coffee beans are our go-to for our home coffee machine. The best!

Amazing service great food the kids loved the rainbow pancakes and our breakfast was delicious will recommend to our friends and family and we will be regulars

Food was great, coffee was good but it took some time for the food to come out and there were only 2 other tables. Staff were friendly and the fire in the background was nice but a little cool in temperature to dine in.
