   Delicious Sunday dinner. Excellent service. Relaxed enjoyable ambiance. Good value for money. Staff polite, helpful and attentive at the right times. We will be back soon.

   It was my husband's birthday lunch and the staff had placed a card - hand written- on the table when we arrived. We had an excellent meal in lovely surroundings served by the efficient and welcoming. Highly recommended.

   Always had a good experience except this time. The restaurant was busy and it appeared there was a function on. There was alot of inexperienced staff too. This may have contributed to one of our guests mains being served much later than ours and the desserts were wrong. Then two of us being told that what we had ordered had now finished :-( and the other person told they would have to now wait 30 minutes for the chef to correct their mistake, quite unacceptable. The bill was all wrong too. We ordered from a fixed menu and got charged full al a carte prices so we had to send that back too. Such a shame as a favourite place for us. Do hope they get their problems sorted out quickly so not to lose custom.

I have heard that this was a particularly overwhelming night for some of the team with a function combined with our restaurant week 3 course menu offer- and that it did not go to plan and lots of mistakes were made.    This is the second time we’ve eaten at the Inn in the last month and both times we’ve unfortunately been disappointed. The staff are really lovely and helpful but unfortunately the time it took to receive our food was unacceptable. We booked the table at 5.30pm and arrived promptly for 5.15pm. The drinks and food order was taken efficiently. There was a group of 6 of us 4 adults and 2 children. We got a starter in good time but the kids didn’t have a starter. The mains and childrens food didn’t arrive until 7.30pm so the kids had waited for 2 hours and were tired and hungry and ready for bed by that time. We mentioned it several times. They had a big shoot dinner in so this was obviously the reason but we had no apologies or explanation. We didn’t end up leaving until 8.30 after pudding which is too late for young children. It would’ve been better to serve us quickly and get it out of the way before the shoot dinner.

   Lovely friendly place, our first visit. Pleasant, polite staff. Nice atmosphere. A very varied menu, plenty of choice, something for everyone . We'll definitely return!

   As always, the food was fabulous and excellent value for money from the Restaurant Week menu. The only flaw this time was the wait between courses due to there being very few staff. They were polite and friendly but not enough of them on the day we came (compared to previous visits)

   Lovely vibe, good food and service. Sunday roast was good, a little cold and roast potatoes were a little rubbery but otherwise a lovely experience and meal!

    Our first visit. Beautiful inside, excellent food and amazing service. We were celebrating a birthday and arrived to a birthday card on the table and the birthday girl was presented with a beautiful birthday dessert. Server really went above and beyond. Overall a wonderful experience
