Our country pub and bar area is at the heart of The Inn which offers classic and contemporary interiors, relaxed seating and open fires. Enjoy country pub classic food dishes including daily specials and fine wines, cocktails, real ales and craft beer. Head Chef Shane White and his team have created a menu inspired by the seasons and resources and celebrates the amazing produce North Yorkshire has to offer.

Served in the Garden Room over looking the winter gardens, traditional music, fluffy blankets share a fully set table with a fondue pot and all the accompaniments with friends to dip away with crusty bread, baby cornichons, potatoes, roasted sprouts, and charcuterie meats with a 125ml glass of Grüner Veltliner. First time visit for Sunday lunch. Food good and reasonably priced. Service friendly and fast, but we didn’t feel rushed. We enjoyed our visit and will likely return.

Really good food we went with the £15-£30deal from your Harrogate plus as an extra touch my other half received a birthday card. Booking was easy service was excellent and was really cosy and quiet. Food was excellent and locally sourced...amazing plus big shout out to the waiting staff really polite and on it regarding service.

Beautifully styled , warm welcome, great food. You can choose from a good selection from the main menu, at prices expected for the standard of food. Or there’s an early bird menu, which is also very good. The food is presented to a high standard & tastes great. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

I really can't speak highly enough of my experience last night, the whole visit was first rate. I booked on line which was simple, on arrival the man who greeted was friendly and professional. The inside is smart clean lovely decor and not too spaced together. The girl who served us was a credit (sorry didn't get her name) she was attentive and friendly. The food we chose was on the Sunday menu, we both chose the roast beef dinner, which we both agreed was probably the best we have tasted in years, it really was that good! The beef you could of eaten with a broken jaw it was that tender! Amazing roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding topped with a gravy which was fabulous! Absolutely would I recommend the inn at south stainley but I do have one issue! I don't live near enough to it!!

First time having a Sunday meal and it was a very enjoyable experience. Very well decorated and lovely modern but comfortable feel inside. The staff make or break a place like this and they definitely make it here, they were on the ball right from walking through the door and throughout the meal, we didn’t have any long wait times. The food was a very high standard indeed. Can highly recommend and we will be back.
