The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

We love The Italiano! The food was excellent! Our waiter, Giovani, was on top of it and made the night amazing. He even put up with my attempt at speaking Italian and dumb jokes. This is one of our favorite places to eat! It is a little loud but we worked through it! I highly recommend The Italiano!

I love this restaurant! The decor & ambiance make you feel like you are in Italy. The food is always consistent and delicious. So many wonderful options. The presentation of the Caesar salad is so cool in a crustini bread bowl.The drinks not only have an aesthetic beauty to them, but they are so good, especially their unique version of a Bellini. The service is welcoming, attentive & friendly. My daughter says they have the best tiramisu! Can’t wait to go back!

Service was outstanding. Menu is plentiful with a great variety of choices. Food was good, but for the price, not outstanding and the portion size was a bit light. With all said, we will be back.

David the waiter- excellent! Food was very good. Noise level okay where west, but started to get louder by 7pm. Lots of attention from the staff. Good experience.

We had an exceptional evening dinner at Italiano’s. The environment, service and food were fabulous. We will definitely return. Thank you to everyone at Italiano.

It was my dad’s 95 th birthday and everyone made it special. The food was great but the service made the experience.

Felt rushed. Took away my salad plate to serve main course. Served wine half way through our main course. Food is wonderful but you pay the price for it.

This is a new restaurant and an immediate success. Classic Italian menu, produced with good ingredients and huge portions. While it lacks refinement in the food, service and ambience, it delivers delicious and enjoyable meals. The only issue is the large dining room with many less than desirable tables in the back while the bar area and fireplace room are more appealing spaces. The dessert choices are not up to the rest of the menu and should be improved. Nobody raves about spumoni.
