The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Food was terrific as was service. It’s loud and frenetic (even on a Tuesday night) but it adds to the Italian vibe. Feels like a boisterously authentic upscale Italian joint.

I am a first generation Italian American and was raised by parents and relatives who truly loved food and were very particular about how it was prepared, and the ingredients used. They have since passed, but I would not have hesitated to take them to this restaurant, knowing they would have been highly impressed. This is a wonderful, upscale Italian restaurant. The various rooms are beautiful, even enchanting, yet the friendly service makes you relax and feel comfortable during your meal. The Italiano is on our list for any visit by family and friends who enjoy delicious authentic Italian food, great service, in an elegant, yet relaxing, environment. This restaurant is another example where the Maggiore family does not disappoint.

Wow first time here. Excellent - lovely ambiance; gorgeous design; fantastic service; delicious food (salmon). Would definately return! My lunch parter felt the same way - a big hit!

Pricey. (+$40/entree). Waited 40 minutes for meal after being seated. Need more smiles from staff. Noise levels ok for couple but larger party’s will experience trouble to communicate across table.
