    Absolutely amazing experience- from being shown to our table, to using the bathroom!! What an absolutely amazing experience. I feel this restaurant stands head and shoulders above anything else in Cardiff that I have experienced (including the ivy)…will be back. Superb!

    First was lovely, first courses came out quickly, however we had finished this course still having not received our drinks. Had to chase a few times. Also had to chase for a spoon so my young daughter could eat her rice. We should not have to leave our table for these things, especially as the restaurant was not busy.

    Wontons they were not…. Wonton STRIPS they are….needs changing on the menu. Fabulously over the top decor. Slow service … waited 15 mins for our bottle of wine (restaurant was NOT busy even though our server straight away said as we sat down that it was the VERY busy time and to expect to wait for dishes to come out of the kitchen ). Food was lovely although the steamed rice arrived after we’d had (and eaten) most of the dishes so was a waste of money really. Nice touch of a sweet birthday dumpling at the end. All in all a good evening but we will need to try it again to give it a higher score. Almost great… but not quite.

    We went for the ivy Asia experience menu. A very fresh and tasty experience. The wine recommendation was spot on. Yes we finished with the doughnuts. It was a Monday evening and it was surprisingly busy. The staff were excellent. Attentive and knowledgable about the dishes.

    All good apart that our table was under a music speaker making conversation and hearing the staff describing the food quite difficult.

    Food was good thank you I tried to use the App. No wifi in the building! Waiter said he would take my number and add points- not materialised Attempted to do it with the invoice- still does not show points Disappointing as I’ve been visiting The Ivy and Asia since they opened in Cardiff and decided to get the app Going to Guildford on Tuesday will try to use the app again- hoping for more success
