    Make the most of this festive season and indulge in our new two-course Festive Set Menu, featuring mouthwatering seasonal delights like Turkey Rendang Curry and a decadent Reindeer Dessert with dark chocolate mousse and chocolate pearls, it’s the perfect excuse to gather with loved ones and enjoy our opulent interiors and extravagant dishes.     i had a beautiful dinner i came here last year for my 1 year anniversary and we decided to come here for our second it was booked on the same day and i felt bad for booking at 8pm on a sunday because i thought it might not be busy but in fact it was. the food was amazing we had the set menu for £35 the portions are a bit small i was still a bit hungry so i ordered this bowl of rice turned out it was spicy i just forgot to look if it was or not but the lovely lady took it off the bill for us which was so nice the service was lush they didn’t come back to take our food or drinks order and we had to call them over a few times, but they did give us mochi ice cream for our anniversary on the house which was so lush and one of the waitresses took photos of us which was really nice

    It may have been an off day for the people serving us on Sunday.... we were greeted by a very welcoming lady who showed us to the bar to await our table being ready. I ordered a drink and tap water, the Prosecco was very slow to arrive at our table (which had become available) We then had to wait a long time for my son's drink order to be taken. When his drink finally arrived (a Cherry and Pineapple negroni) it tasted strongly of gin, but the fruit flavours were not prevalant...... Our table water had not yet arrived. Our waitress seemed to view us with a mixture of disdain, and annoyance and it was very difficult to get her (or any other waiting staff's) attention, even though we were right by their service station.... We finally ordered our food, which was delicious, however it was delivered to the table with the same level of annoyance and disdain...... It then took me 20 minutes to request a second glass of Prosecco. Perhaps it had been a busy weekend, but it was quiet when we were there, and we just felt that everything was a bit of an effort for the staff. This is a real shame given that the restaurant and its chain are highly rated, and the menu prices suggest very good quality. The overall ambience /setting of the Ivy Asia is a thing of beauty.

    Fabulous atmosphere and the dj was a brilliant touch. Easy to stay all.niggt and enjoy a drink. Food was lovely and service was good. Waited a while for drinks though.

    Very good service... food was excellent. Only hiccup was tables were a tad too close to each other so difficult for people to move between

    We really enjoyed our evening. Your staff are fantastic. Chu’s customer service was outstanding. He was excellent and very helpful. He was also extremely attentive. He really made our experience enjoyable. He explained every course so well and was a really lovely server. He made our meal very relaxing and an enjoyable experience. We also then had a drink at the bar and Kuba deserves a special mention for making my partner a special birthday surprise with his drink of dry ice. He was also very knowledgeable on the menu and very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening. Your staff are what make the experience worth it even more so than the food and they are invaluable.

    Our waitress Lauren was exceptional. Checking on us every so often making sure we were happy. Food was amazing! Very enjoyable evening.

    More show than service / value. Some of the staff were a bit abrupt/ driving a script. Did not feel authentic. Bit of a factory / process driven for yield/sweating the opportunity/asset vs customer experience. But I’m picky and Cardiff does not have great choice in this regard. Will come back - good but not great

    Went for the festive set menu. Great treat, loved the Ice cream Christmas tree. Staff were great. Only complaint not enough room for my coat in the cloak room, but a very wet day.. Thank-you
