one of the starters was 20 minutes after the rest and one of the mains was 30 minutes after the rest the manager told us that he couldn't do anything about this and offered us donuts ! the bill came at 450 pounds for 6 people the service and the food was not worth this much and i don't mind paying for good food and a good time staff are so rude

Amazing lunch in a superb venue. The food was exceptional and the service was absolutely fantastic- Lee our server went above and beyond - thank you for a fabulous lunch

Staff were welcoming, but as soon as we stepped inside the noise levels were too high. People were trying to shout over the excessive music volume. The waiter had to ask us to repeat our orders as he couldn't hear. Room was too dark to read the menu clearly.

Service was awful. We were ignored. One persons main dish came first, and the others had to wait ten minutes. Some dishes were wrong. Waiter didnt seem bothered.

Gorgeous restaurant, the decor is fab, lovely little touches and the view of St Paul’s is perfect. I thought that the staff are really good and friendly too. The food was delicious and I had the best cocktail I’ve ever had! My only negative was the noise volume, it was difficult to hear the wait staff and each other.

As always great food, atmosphere and service. The location is excellent. With amazing views of St Paul’s Cathedral.

When attempting to enter for our reservation one of our party was stopped and given a hard time about being drunk, he wasn’t drunk, he is partially sighted and uses peripheral vision to get around. When we eventually got in to the front desk we were told we wouldn’t be served alcohol because one of our party was too drunk but now it was someone else in the party and we were told we wouldn’t be served any alcohol at the table. We were then made to wait for an extended period for the table to be ready when it was already setup. Despite all this Food was excellent and we were able to order drinks with our meal, a lot of faff to cover up for a mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology for the initial Misunderstanding.

It was our anniversary and we were told over the phone that we could arrive earlier and have a drink at the bar beforehand. When we got there, the front of house manager told us there was no room and that we had to come back at the time of our dinner reservation. There was no apology, and no empathy. We went to Madisons rooftop bar around the corner (beautifully venue overlooking St Paul’s) and came back in time for our reservation. Our table was not ready and there was again no apology and the front of house manager was instead actively rude. When we were eventually taken upstairs after I asked to see the manager, he proceeded to tell us it’s a very “popular and busy place and these things happen”. Once again the words “we are sorry” were never uttered. We had requested a more private table when we booked but we were probably put in one of the loudest busiest spots where we could hardly hear ourselves. On the plus side, it’s a stunning venue and decor, our waiter was very attentive and apologised and did not charge for our glasses of champagne. The food was also outstanding. If the front of house manager and the actual restaurant manager had used just 3 little words “we are sorry”, this review would have been a lot higher.
