   We had to complain to the Manager. There were 5 of us. Both for delivery of the starters and main course I had to wait up to 10 minutes for both, even though I had ordered the same dish as the others. The sides were cold by the time my meal arrived. We ordered 5 drinks, again, some the same and had to ask for the 5th to be delivered. My black coffee cup was half full. Coffees wwre served at different times and again then5th didn't arrive until we asked for it. No cutlery for the pudding. The Manager did deduct some of the items and removed the service charge, but overall we won't return.

   Really need to either get more servers or change it up as this is yet another poor experience with very slow service and all round poor attention to detail. Ivy Asia is one of our favourite places - it just feels like it’s going downhill

   The ambience is amazing along with the decor. We felt the service was a little slow - it took 35 minutes to get a drink ordered and we had to keep trying to catch our server to take our food orders. Our server didn’t really interact with us and was so quietly spoken we just couldn’t hear what she was saying so any explanation on food choices etc was lost. Other tables looked as though they had very attentive servers so think it was just ours unfortunately. Food was fabulous - we will go again and just hope that we have a different waitress.

   Really lovely atmosphere and love that the bar staff when asked made a mojito (even though none on the menu sadly, hint hint there should be) even came back and offered a strawberry mojito which was divine! Food too was great it’s just very pricey for the amounts otherwise I would go back more regularly!

   servers was extremely friendly and was very good the only thing was the mix up with front of house and kitchen regarding food, we wanted dessert right away for our daughter to keep her happy and calm but we had to wait almost 40 minutes for it after we asked the server about the dessert if we didn’t the dessert would have arrive after our meal. service was very attentive and very friendly 5 stars, food was average nothing special.

   Booked for lunch, made a request for a seating position on the outskirts of the room, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and reasonably priced! If you haven’t been … just go!

   The lady on Reception was welcoming but was a little bit ‘false’ which I don’t like. We were shown upstairs & apparently I’d booked the ‘Counter’ and as they were fully booked they couldn’t offer us a table. The counter seats are not comfortable at all & you’re sitting right in front of the staff cooking. We ordered some drinks & both were wrong when they were delivered but soon rectified & the waiter apologised. I had the dumplings to start & the lamb curry for main and both were delicious. They did forget to bring the rice that comes with the lamb & the menu says it’s Jasmine rice but when I mentioned it & they bought it over it tasted exactly the same as my husbands boiled rice, so I don’t think it was correct. All in all a few mistakes but food was lovely & waiting staff were really helpful. I’d definitely go back but NOT seated at the counter!

   Sadly had my 60th birthday tea that was booked as such, spoiled by a lack of service from several different staff who just seemed to be ignoring us , forgot to bring any tea , which was a huge mistake in an afternoon tea reservation, couldn’t get anyone elses attention till we had almost finished eating, they seemed unbothered once we finally got their attention and tried to seek assistance, a poor attitude and just started to clear the table, so we resorted to asking someone else’s waitress on my way back from the ladies room to my table , if I could please speak with the manager, we got the assistant manager who went to a nearby table by mistake first, then he came to us after the girl directed him again, he said he was the manager kept addressing himself to my son despite me being the person who was speaking to him, explaining the situation, and he then said he would discuss it with his colleagues to see what had happened? We said , we’ve just told you what’s happening? What do you need to discuss? He left us. We were very disappointed until the actual manager a lovely lady arrived and really listened to me. She was not surprised we were unhappy with the service as I explained it, and she apologized profusely, she asked us to please stay a moment longer whilst she dealt with our bill , removing service charges and then produced a birthday desert which wasn’t necessary as we needed to leave and catch a train but was very kind and we were grateful that she seemed more professional and genuine than the other members of staff thus far . We wouldn’t go again nor recommend it due to this total lack of any kind of service from the staff , as it ruined a special occasion for us and felt awkward having to sit there whilst waiters glared at us but were grateful that she intervened and did try to resolve matters. She was great. They sulked like children.
