Mixed bag. Firstly the good, staff are great and it is a beautiful spot. The pastries are excellent and the spritzer style juice was also lovely. Now for the bad, I don’t mind paying nearly £50 for a breakfast for two if the food is good, however my wife and I both had the ‘Ulster fry’ and this was hugely disappointing, the food was warm not hot and the sausage was anaemic, it was not browned and therefore had little flavour, the eggs while perfectly scrambled did not have the option for fried or poached, the bacon was very fatty and again was not crisp. The predominant items on the plate, beans and green leaves both of which have no place in my opinion on an Ulster fry. I would suggest that I could name 6 or 7 places in Belfast which do a better breakfast for better value. No amount of fancy dressing can hide mediocre food.

Confusion between festive and a La carte menus. Music too loud. Good service and food

Unfortunately we were seated 30 mins before our cocktails arrived. Then at same time our starter arrived. Which was very disappointing and stressful on a very special occasion. Staff were very nice but this made a bad impression
