Coffee was unexpectedly bad cold and bitter. Black Cod was really mediocre too much sauce and lots of bones. Fried zucchini was tasteless all we taste was the fried oil. Squid portion was really small. Fish cake felt like cooked from frozen the crumb was so hard around it. Steak was good.

Had a family Lunch here and it was fabulous. Been to this restaurant many times and cannot fault the outstanding service and excellent food. The staff always work hard and are respectful, responsive and make this place a real occasion. Can’t fault it

Great ambience. Good service. Didn’t like the automatic service charge that was added to the meal, which significantly increased the overall cost.

As always, we enjoyed our meal at the Ivy. The food was excellent and Seraphine G., our serer, achieved that perfect balance between being there whenever we needed to place an order and not being overly obtrusive. My only complaint is an overpriced wine list.

Great service and ambience . Some of us had the truffle burger , it was ok but a bit overcooked ( dry )

The Ivy was hugely busy today and yet the staff still managed to deliver an amazing service. Been going to this restaurant for some time now and it’s always been consistently great. I have no idea why some people leave 1 star reviews as never had a poor experience at The Ivy Castle View

Excellent as always! We have a Christmas Eve breakfast at The Ivy every year and we’re never disappointed. It’s evidently a very popular choice but that doesn’t compromise the service or quality of the food. Great choices, great value and a wonderful atmosphere.

First visit, very impressed. The ambience was exemplary as were the staff, the details were noted, from offering to take out coats on arrival, seating us at the bar, taking our drinks to the table and table service was spot on. I think the bar was my favourite! The food was perfect and the evening was finished with a salted caramel espresso martini 🍸 Thank you to everyone, the whole team who worked fantastically together, wonderful.

Always pretty solid but it was really cold when we arrived as they had air con on in the winter? Very cold outside. Asked twice and eventually after 40mins warmed up..food was good. Service was very good. Consistent offering .
