Arrived on time for our booking, table not ready, eventually seated more than 30 minutes later and after others who arrived later than us. We did not get an explanation or offered a drink to apologise for our wait. Not sure what it is about the Harrogate branch of the Ivy but service here is often haphazard and mainly disappointing; the Leeds venue and the London branches we have experienced are much sharper and more consistent in looking after customers.

The host who welcomed us was polite however no smile at all and not very welcoming. She as the same in departure. Would’ve liked a candle on the table but that is a minor detail. Otherwise a very enjoyable lunch. Both servers very attentive and friendly.

It was just the gluten free menu for breakfast was 3 options! That’s all Fruit, Yoghurt and fruit (which I can’t have as I’m dairy also Or gf toast with warm Advacardo which was not nice, and pine nuts, Rather disappointing
