Fish and chips we ordered was not fresh, more like a frozen supermarket version. All dishes very small portions.

When I booked I specifically mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday. Ten minutes after we ordered the food was in the table. I don’t like mushy peas so asked if they could be substituted. Said I could have spinach but would have to pay extra. As we finished our meal, we were asked for our desserts. I wanted to wait but less than ten minutes later, she came over and asked again and then proceeded to tell me we only have the table for one hour thirty minutes. When I booked I was told two hours. She made a face. All the tables surrounding us had crackers except for us and when I enquired about this was told it was only if ordered festive meal. I told her it was my husband ‘s birthday; she went away and came back and said there was no record. I had confirmation on my phone. She then brought over a large profiterole with a candle. Said nothing and walked away. I was very disappointed.

Always an enjoyable night when you eat at The Ivy. We had the 3 course Christmas menu which had a lot of choices. The food was lovely. The staff are very good and knowledgeable about the food. Try the Christmas colada cocktail.

The lady at reception was incredibly rude and failed to take our coats - they charge for a Christmas cracker , the food was at best average and the waiter asked for a tip on top of a 13.5 % service charge and the bill had been calculated wrongly . A very mediocre dining experience .

Prices of festive menu were not matching the open table. Starters and main were amazing. Staff service very good. Drinks and deserts were disappointing. Festive menu doesn’t seem to worth it for 3 courses. Table with a view amazing but very dark.

We had a lovely meal at the Ivy, Tower Bridge, however, very disappointed to be brought the bill after our meal and told our time was up! Luckily we were able to move to the bar to finish our cocktails.

Service was off. Also, Ordered a specific desert and was told 10 minutes after placing order the desert was not available for ala carte orders. So I was spending more money as ala carte results in higher spend, and was unable to get a signature desert. I will not visit this Ivy location again.
