   It’s worth the money. Great food and service. Our waitress was the best. She described all the specials like you wanted to order them all. If you have leftovers they give you a ticket to get it on the way out. I thought that was classy instead of giving you the bag right away when you still have dessert. Great experience! Will definitely want to come back.

   For the first time dining at The James my wife and I had a great time celebrating our 11 year anniversary. Even on a Saturday night during “rush hour” the service was top tier, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. We really enjoyed the Crab Cake, Tomahawk Steak, Duck Fat Gratin Potatoes, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Overall I’d recommend The James based upon our experience and we will be returning for certain. Special shout out to our Waitress Ana Besy who made the experience memorable with her fantastic service.

   We dined with Carlos in the upstairs dining room, celebrating a not-so-average accomplishment & he was outstanding, funny, attentive & knowledgable. He toasted us with champagne, gave great & honest recommendations & was just overall exceptional. Would absolutely come back to dine with him!

   From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Our server was also wonderful, the food was delicious and the place is beautiful.

   The service left something to be desired. It took awhile to order cocktails and while confirmed the champagne brand; it ended up being something different. Coffee was forgotten 2x and then waiter brought a new bill to include the coffee. Lastly, our doggie bag was never brought to us. The tuna crudo & filet mignon were delicious!!!

   The James is a pricy steakhouse. You would think they know how to treat their guests. The food we received was rare and inedible. We had to send it back to be cooked. By the time it came back to our table it was too late for us to even want it. We told them to wrap it up. They still charged for everything. Came home to find the food they wrapped up was someone’s fish. Not from our table. And certainly not the 80$ wagu beef or 30$ burger. Service was slow. Our waiter was not only inattentive but told us what he expected for a tip. Our experience was not good enough to ever warrant coming back

   We eat at a lot of restaurants. This one was 10/10. Food was absolutely amazing. Did not feel rushed. Music, service, food, drinks, lighting, valet/coat check, super courteous. Will definitely be returning. I do not give 10/10 ever. Well deserved.

    What a wonderful experience. I work in the restaurant industry, I rarely have a Saturday Night off to experience the other side of the dining experience and let me tell you it was superb. I made a note on my reservation saying my boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and we started off the night with a toast of complimentary Prosecco on the house. We also Indulged in the crabcake appetizer, as well as the duck cassoulet that was phenomenal. On Saturday evenings, they offer a château Briand for two for 135 and couldn’t pass up that deal. The martini cart girl was a pleasant surprise as well as the presentation of their bread service with a sharp quick steak knife stabbed through it on the table. Their wine selection by the glass as well as splits and full bottles complemented their level of professionalism and service. We definitely splurge that evening to celebrate, and we look forward to coming back on just a regular evening for dinner in the near future. Thank You
