Attention: Please note that all reservations made will be located in our inside restaurant, our tables located in our large pub garden, bar area and covered garden room are available for walk-ins only.

Voted the nation’s favourite family pub, our 18th century village local on the Norfolk coast serves real ales from our microbrewery Brancaster Brewery, home cooked wholesome food, great pub classics including Jolly Smokehouse specials, local seafood, stone baked pizzas and ice cream from a garden beach hut (and not forgetting the largest selection of rum on the coast!).

Excellent food and service. Our server Jodie was very attentive. Space for young ones to play. Great selection of drinks especially rum. There are a few Norfolk gin and rum on offer too! Excellent Sunday roast. Would definitely recommend anyone to go to Jolly Sailor! We are planning to go again!

Sunday lunch - one beef and one pork. Both excellent. Will certainly go back again.

Had dinner on a Friday night, lovely fish and chips and good beer. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Called next day to have a beer whilst coming back from a lovely walk.

Welcoming atmosphere with good service. Straight forward menu. We enjoyed the shell on oak smoked prawns and mussels. Both were excellent. Great value. Highly recommend.
