   Dinner was excellent - the oysters were small but tasty, the she crab soup was rich and creamy, the wahoo was flaky and delicious (especially with the mushrooms in the sauce), and squid ink pasta (nero) was very tasty. We enjoyed all of it! Oh yes and the key lime pie.... Mmmmm. We ate too much and took some leftovers home :) Service was friendly and very attentive, very nice all around. It was a little too loud it was hard to have a conversation at times but we managed. Some noise absorption would be helpful.

   Service was bad and food was so overpriced. The kids busing the tables were more polite than our waiter. And the food was just not good.

   Cocktails not my favorite but my waitress kept trying til she found a drink I loved ! Food was delicious and very filling!

I am thrilled to hear that the waitress really helped you navigate the menu to get to that favorite. I love the ecto cool and our espresso martinis!!    We’ve been twice in the past month- had to find our server both times. The first time, they made my pregnant daughter wait 45 mins for food (they did comp it tho) and this time, we almost got up and left because we couldn’t find our server. Prices are high but the view will cost you. Food is good- once you get it.

This is not our standard and it is unfortunate and unacceptable that you would need to wait that long or look for your server. We have discussed this issue with the staff and will use this as a learning experience so that it will not happen again. We did fall short in your dining experience.    This was our second dinner at Kingstide, and it did not disappoint. Their wine list isn’t lengthy, but offers plenty of options. Our appetizer (the burrata with tapenade) was delicious! My hubby went with the fried seafood platter (why not?!) and it was fabulous. I had the sailfish and it was sublime. We will be back soon!!!

The seafood platter is one of our newer additions to our menu, I am so glad you thought it was fabulous. We cannot wait for you to come back and visit us!    Food was good, they are very accommodating for vegetarians and people with allergies, and Nicole our server was super.
