Voluntarily in prison? The slightly different restaurant in Berlin-Lichterfelde in the former women's prison offers an elegant indoor dining room as well as high tables in the lounge. In summertime also wonderful garden. You can enjoy an à la carte selection of fine bistro dishes, every Wednesday to Saturday from 5 p.m. Familiar things - always interpreted in a modern and surprising way. Plus wonderful wines and a lovely digestive choices.

We value stimulating culinary moments in a special place and encourage our guests to get to know new people.
Very important: We are an adults-only concept. All experiences in our house are only for people over 18.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im KNAST und werden bestimmt mal wiederkommen. Zumal wir um die Ecke wohnen. Tolles phantasievolles Essen, netter Service. Eine schöne Erfahrung.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Akustik im Gastraum muss noch verbessert werden . Die Bar im OG ist in jedem Fall ein Besuch wert.

Es hat mir große Freude gemacht mich kulinarisch im The Knast verwöhnen zu lassen. Die Speisen waren sowohl für meine Augen als auch für meinen Gaumen eine sehr angenehme Überraschung und die Weinempfehlungen ebenso! Meine Erwartung wurde bei weitem übertroffen und ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch dort. Herzlichen Dank für diesen schönen Abend

Das Essen war hervorragend. Sehr gute Qualität, mit top Service. Leider wurde es zum Ende hin recht laut, da die Räumlichkeiten sehr klein sind. Sind nach dem Essen noch in die Bar gegangen. Die Cocktails waren gut, das Ambiente ebenso. Leider ist die Auswahl an Cocktails sehr klein, keine auf Rum- und Whiskybasis auf der Karte.

Für Lichterfelde ist dieses Restaurant einfach der Hammer. Essen war gut mit Luft nach oben. Die Weinauswahl ist relativ klein und liegt im oberen Preissegment. Besonders ist die Atmosphäre. Es lohnt sich und unbedingt auch ein Besuch in der Bar!

Thank you for making our Valentines Day so special! We absolutely cherished every moment of this dining experience! Starting from the uniquness of the place (former women prison) and the great choice of wonderful dishes, up to our favourite highlights of the evening: the really high-end, elegant, with enormous knowledge and best attention service (thank you Johnny!) together with a discovery of the pre-selected, non-alcoholic wines which for was for me a definite discovery of the evening. Thank you and it was definitely not our last visit there! :)

Der Besuch im Restaurant Knast war sehr interessant,das Essen war wirklich super, was die Weine betrifft waren sie uns durchgehend zu alt,wir hätten gerne junge,frischere Weine bevorzugt. Der Geräuschpegel war leider sehr laut,da anscheinend aus Denkmalschutzgründen keine Maßnahmen getroffen werden dürfen um die Lautstärke zu dämmen.
