The service needs work. We had a reservation for 3pm and was not seated until 3:30pm. Our drinks did not come until after our food was served.

Went here as part of Black Restaurant week. They didn't offer the menu, just Brunch and a couple of other things. Waited 1 hour and 15 mins for food that was not good. Greens were not good, Mac N cheese was too cheesy, salmon bites were just blah with some hot sauce. My friend didn't care for her food either. We both agreed that if you are part of restaurant week, have the menu. We went online and saw the menu and wanted to try that. Added gratuity for 1 or more people and our waitress may have come back 1 or twice before we even got food. Definitely didn't earn the 18% tacked on to our bill.

The environment was nice and comfortable. The waiter Chris was awesome he made us feel welcome very professional. The food was great, the overall service was satisfactory except towards the end of our dining experience when we got ready to say happy birthday and cut the cake we then encounter rudeness and sarcasm from the manager about the noise level and the cake rules also there was a guy working there not sure if he was security but he was just as rude.

I went here on a Sunday funday brunch and overall it was a decent time. The food was just ok in my opinion. I got the shrimp and grits but the dish was very small as I thought it would’ve been bigger for the price I paid! I got the side dish of yams and Mac and cheese and that tasted really good. But $10 for side dishes in a small bowl is a lot. It’s very small inside and almost too loud to enjoy because of the music was very loud. The drinks were good and strong. I would go back for a second try!

Whereas it was a nice cozy spot in the Loop, my lamb chops were chewy, and though some may not like it any other way, there was enough cheese in the mac and cheese for another serving. The music was so loud that it was hard to hear my conversation. My companion reported thoroughly enjoying her chicken and waffles though.

The food was pretty good. I had the wings with waffles and two sides. The mac and cheese was the best, The cabbage would come next. The Greens were okay They just had a little bit too many stems for me. Also the waffles were a little on the hard side for me. The atmosphere is nice and chill and the DJ was really good. My server was really good and attentive. I would only hope they work on their ventilation system, It was pretty smoky to to point you were coughing. I'd definitely be back tho.

The food was amazing! However the service was just a bit slow and it was barely anyone in the restaurant. However I love supporting Black Owned Businesses. It was great.
