Prosecco jelly Eaton mess Chocolate cupcake Scones Chicken ceaser salad Fish fingers with tartar sauce Hickory Ham and cheese filled wraps Nachos with guacamole and pico de Gallo Quiche All this and a endless pot of tea is £17.95 pp (Vegetarian available) Or if you fancy treating yourself , you can have this & a large glass of prosecco for £23.95! We also do a children's afternoon tea and a small fruit juice for £9.95. PLEASE READ Terms and Conditions MUST BE BOOKED 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE Please note this restaurant requires credit card details to confirm all afternoon tea bookings. 24 hours notice required for cancellation and if cancelled less then 24 hours a deposit of £10 per person will be taken from the given card. Terms and Conditions: Maximum of 10 diners booked online, 10 diners or more please call the restaurant. If you wish to cancel, please contact us more than 24 hours before your arrival time If you cancel the booking less than 24 hours prior to your reservation a £10 per person deposit will be taken. Amazing food, the staff were polite and helpful, I'll definatly be returning and would recommend The Lane to anyone who enjoys good food.

A nice friendly upmarket foodie café/restaurant that is very popular - I would recommend booking at 'peak' times. I ordered the chickpea salad with the lamb topping. The chickpea salad was a cold dish that was tasty and fragrant but I was not quite sure that the hot lamb topping (tasty and quite generous) complimented the dish. My wife had the quesadilla that was the better of the two dishes - very nice.

A group of 5 friends visited on new years eve for food and drink and to see in the new year,the food was amazing.The service was exceptional and was great value for money.Already booked a return visit great venue

We had a lovely afternoon tea here on Sunday afternoon. I’d mistakenly not mentioned on my booking form that we wanted afternoon tea (which they are meant to have 48 hrs notice for) but this was no trouble for them and they made up our afternoon tea picnic tables pronto! There was a great mix of food on the table, and so much that we had a doggy bag to tag Home afterwards! Definitely recommend to all - a real twist on afternoon tea but one I would definitely visit again - thank you!

Fantastic afternoon tea. Food was lovely. Staff were friendly & helpful. Child friendly. Loved the fact they done a childs afternoon tea too. Only thing they do need is a baby changing facility but apart from that no complaints. Overall very happy and will be back again soon.
