Located a stone’s throw away from Coventry Railway Station on Warwick Row, The Lazy Monkey Bar offers something a little different to diners in Coventry. A modern design cosy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and tremendous vibes.

Items on the menu include a variety of Indian Specialty Dishes, Burgers, Wings, Loaded Mac & Cheese and desserts.

Mani, the owner, was a most excellent host. I organised a dinner for 22 clients with a sharing menu. Mani helped design the menu to both our tastes and our budgets. The food came out at a great rate, my clients were over the moon with the visit. Thank you Mani and the team.

Always have a fabulous meal here. Good, service and ambience next to none. They always accommodate, best they can. You don't be disappointed as fair prices too. Cocktails are lovely!

The Lazy monkey is a great place, with amazing cocktails and food. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately the service was very slow with it taking 40 minutes to get our initial drinks order. The owner was very apologetic and explained that he was short staffed when we visited and rectified the issue straight away. We will be visiting again, the food is amazing and we’re sure the wait times for things will be better next time!

Amazing food - the naan bread in particular was heavenly! Beautiful venue and great service. Will definitely return!

Absolutely amazing food, customer service was amazing, super friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Such an amazing place would highly recommended and would be definitely visiting again

Excellent choice of food. We had a number of the small plates. Masala fish was beautiful, the chicken tikka was succulent and flavourful. My favourite were soft pillowy bao buns with paneer filling. We will be going back very soon to try some of the more traditional dishes. Great service, very attentive and welcoming. Great location and ambience. I'm Indian and find it hard to find authentic but interesting restaurants....I highly recommend this place.

I visited the lazy monkey with my family on a Saturday Night and was very impressed with the quality of food and the service. This restaurant is very different from your traditional ‘desi pub’, and has a focus on innovation and fusion. Food Review We tried most of the small plates and found them to be seasoned very well, and the perfect mix of English and Punjabi Food! The portion sizes and quality of ingredients used surpassed our expectations. For the main course we decided to try the Butter Chicken Pizza, Masala Fries, Lamb Bhuna, Garlic Naan and Lamb Shank. Every item again was seasoned perfectly and the portion size was also generous. The highlight of the main course was the Lamb Shank, we could definitely taste the lamb had been infused with spices! This was very different from a lot of places that simply give you plain lamb pieces in a rich sauce. To actually taste the spices in every bite of lamb was superb! For Dessert we had the Gulab Jamun, Lotus Cheesecake and Molten Cake. Now this is where this place excels! A lot of traditional Indian/Punjabi restaurants really had bad desserts or do not even offer desserts. We found the Gulab Jamun to be some of the best we had ever tried! We were told this was made in house and could tell it was very different from what we had tried in the past. I highly recommend you try this! The Lotus Cheesecake and Molten Cake were also of similar quality and added to the enjoyment of the whole meal. I should also add each dessert was severed with creamy vanilla ice cream which was great! Service Review The service was very good and our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and gave us some recommendations on what we should order. The food arrived fast and overall the place had a very good vibe. Drinks Review We ordered a number of drinks and again, no complaints here, drinks arrived quickly and tasted great. Overall Rating 5/5, the service and food surpassed our expectations, and we will be returning. I would like to say

Great experience, food and drinks were amazing, even better when you consider the price for the quality you are getting. Staff couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. Will definitely be going again
