The Legh Arms is a traditional pub with lots of quirky decor. The staff are friendly and always polite. The food is exceptional, I love the roast dinners, definitely recommend

Our favourite eating place. Came today for a big time celebration meal. The team again did us proud. Need to return very soon. Thank you. Great food, friendly and prompt professional service. Chefs are as good as any. Rev Dave and Gill

Whist the food was excellent we had some issues with the service. We waited 35 minutes to receive a copy of the desert menu. We ordered a bottle of wine and at the end of the meal we had drunk less than half of the bottle and was going to take it home with us. Unfortunately, we left without the bottle of wine and when we returned ten minutes later to pick it up it had been thrown away. We do understand that tables have to be cleared promptly but when a bottle of wine was over half full you would have thought they would have kept it longer than ten minutes.

Excellent food and staff wonderful. Celebrated my parents 61 years married and it couldn't have been better

Using open table allows me to see available times, great idea. The waitress got our drinks wrong and our desserts but I got the impression she was probably a new member of staff. The food was first class and I struggled to choose between the chicken off the special menu decided on the dockers salad which was delicious

Lovely lunch , the Staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, great service. The food was excellent, never had a bad meal there yet! I can highly recommend .
