   After multiple, excellent experiences at Il Gattopardo we thought we’d try The Leopard. The room itself is beautiful, and the food was very good. The service, however, was awful. Lots of people work here, but getting their attention is like pulling teeth. And we were shocked when the sommelier, who was in the middle of helping us, puts his coat on, waves to the rest of the staff, and leaves when they’re still open another 1.5 hours! The bill for 5 of us was over $1k; there are too many great places in NYC to ever go back here.

   We were celebrating a 60 th wedding anniversary and a birthday. Great atmosphere for special occasion. Noisier than usual but it is holiday time somit did not bother us much. Excellent, accommodating service and gluten free options. And an easy walk from where we stay

   All was good but sat us next to a company party that was very loud - could hardly hear my dates voice Food was great - very tight seating

   Fish was cooked perfectly. But be aware, not a hint of casual dinning, No chance of getting French fries. Staff was amazingly attentive.

   Food and service was excellent however a party of 13 were seated across from us and there was this one big mouth that ruined the entire experience my wife and I we couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

   A nice walk from Lincoln Center. The restaurant is charming and comfortable. Dinner was outstanding and was a nice way to end a great evening.

   Sunday sauce ragu was excellent. Could have a few larger pieces of sausage, etc. Flavor was outstanding. Service fine - nice bottle of wine. There was a three table birthday party going on adjacent to our table - guess privacy spacing is not available. It’s been a while, but we’ll be back.

   What a wonderful restaurant!! This is our special place for celebrating and Lincoln Center events. The service is impeccable and the food is outstanding. The small space makes an intimate experience.

    As native Italian, the food was terrible and not worth what they charge. They pretend to be such a high class italian, pretentious manager instead of listening how bad the food was he just dismissed me walking away. While we were eating the waiter started to sweep the floor and when I brought it to his attention he did not even grasp how rude and unsanitary it is to do that while the guests arevstill eating, our table Was put together on a bad corner near the waiters stations on a cart table, other table stood empty while We were cramped in that corner, my husband is 6.3ft tall and he had hard time squeezed in there. High priced antipasto had just cold cuts and 3 chunks of parmigiano, ricotta did not really belong there, 2 slices of mortadella,, very small pieces of prosciutto, couple of pieces of salame, capicola but not exceptional. I had seafood ravioli, the dough was thick and overcooked, the fish ,filling mostly white fish ,inside was extremely salty, the sauce was minimal and did not masque the bad tasting ravioli. My husband had paccheri filled with meat, old sauce and the pasta was way overcooked so it was not worth it There are so many other better Italian restaurants than this one, I do not recommend it. Th staff was obnoxious especially the manager, when clients are eating they should avoid cleaning the floors, transporting cart tables around while we were trying to eat, closing folfing chairs and making a lot of noise. All of this is not acceptable.
