The Lighthouse Tasting Rooms is an extension of the renowned Lighthouse Champagne bar bringing you the much loved dishes tried and tested over the years by our chef's Simon & Jessica now in a cosy bistro setting. With an orangery and bistro, we serve a range of delights from oysters & light bites from our delicatessen to a full bistronomic restaurant menu. Enjoy elevated classics inspired by French, English and European cuisine - what we describe as a Frenglish infusion of tastes! Join us half way along Folkestone Harbour Arm for lunch or an evening meal or book a table at our weekly Sunset Session every Friday evening with a 3 course set meal & some fabulous live jazz!

The sunset sessions are great fun, the music is loud enough to give privacy for a close conversation but not so loud you can't chat at all. Never had any issues with the food and the offer with glass of wine, 3 course meal and live music is excellent value for money and the food is really tasty. It's bistro style and a set menu which is why the quality is well above the price point. The staff are lovely as well and having been a few times before we had a very warm welcome and excellent service. The walk along the harbour arm afterwards is a lovely end to the evening.

Great place, and atmosphere, well presented and tasty food, all four of us did leave hungry though.

Wonderful highly recommended. The food was excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. The service was superb. We will return without a doubt

We love going to the tasting rooms for an evening of music and a meal.I did not enjoy this quite as much as found the jazz a bit too “ jazzy” for me with no recognisable music.Previous evening's music has been more mainstream.Still good to have background music though but would have been nice if the band had engaged more with the audience. The food was good but a bit “ heavier” than usual and I could not manage to eat all of the meatballs. Still an enjoyable evening and we will be going again as such a nice venue. Great value for a three course meal,glass of wine and entertainment

Great tasty food! Every waiter/waitress we came across was super helpful and friendly. We came on Mother’s Day so was busy but we didn’t have to wait around. Atmosphere was spot on, really nice ambience. They have done a great job. Will defo return

Something welcoming about this atmospheric long room that gives you time to dine......food was delicious particularly the vegetarian cassoulet, hmm so was the Creme Brulee, hmm and the Lemon Posset....

Great food, lovely place and staff. We were early lunch so it was very quiet at the time and hadn’t warmed up yet. Plus it was a really cold blowy day. I imagine it’s buzzing when it’s full. Really nice place, look forward to going back.

This was our second visit to The Tasting Rooms on a Friday night and both occasions have been excellent. The food was delicious, there was a great atmosphere and the music was great too. I would highly recommend a visit here.
